This is my first review

A metroidvania that is worth playing this game is IMO a masterpiecr it is on the same level as hollow knight and ori games for me which are top tier.

Story - 9/10

Definitely could have been better in execution but I find the protagonist journey compelling enough for me to write this I also think the game has some problems with characters as Death and endless felt developed but other two were underdeveloped. Other than some little grips with other characters I really enjoyed the story It felt kind of uplifting in nature and was good and nicely executed.

Combat - 9/10
Is awesome I really enjoyed the 2d soulslike touch I played with a longsword and greatsword also all talents are good and enhance the combat in a nice way the implementation of parrying is also good and the attacks feel weighty which I like.

One major gripe for me due to which I have not given the combat a 10//10 is uselessness of stamina as a stat due to a perk where you instantly fill your stamina after using a skill. This makes stamina a useless stat to invest in

World design - 10/10

The world is designed nicely and Is heavily interconnected in a good way and gives a real sense of exploration and has a good amount of ability gating which I like as it is not too much. The hub areas are also nice .

World art design- 11/10

This truly Is one of the best pixel art I have seen ever in a game it looks gorgeous and the atmosphere is heavily improved by this art also the design of the entrance of the castle is just stunning I think this is one the best aspects of the game .
All the bosses look so cool and well designed.

Bosses - 10/10

Tons of bosses and all of them play differently and also have a heroic version with a new moveset.

The bosses are hard but fair and also have thier own lore which is good and improves their fight and lore is found by exploring the world which increases the reasons for exploration.

Soundtrack- 11/10 - easily one of my favourite soundtracks in recent years. I really find the boss tracks epic. But the ost of the world are somber and bit bleak or sometimes epic depending on the area I really like that this has some variation in it and all tracks are varied and good


Overall - 10/10

I heavily recommend this game to every metroidvania and souls-like fans.
