Poo Poo Trash

So I know this game is now 10 years old, but jeez, I enjoyed it lots. Despite obviously not looking as good as the 3rd instalment , it definitely has a way deeper story. Whereas TW3 I see as a smart but obvious recycling of the novels (and recycled Faust in the Hearts of Stone), The Witcher 2 bears an original fanfiction storyline, with great character development. I also think it's way more brutal and gory, and not trying to please the masses as much. I had great fun with the combat mechanics and the RPG element of preparing for the battle (it makes way more sense to me that Geralt should drink all his potions BEFORE, and is not able to eat 50 cheese wheels during the combat).
I used to think I am team Yennefer, but it turns out I am team Iorveth after all.

It doesn’t match the groundbreaking ambition of Combat Evolved or the epic circumstances of Halo 3 , Bungie decided to create a different experience from what you find in other games, both in form and development of the narrative.
There are places where Halo 3: ODST could be improved, but when it comes right down to it, every fps fan should play this game.
Over time i have come to love odst even more ,Through it's incredible atmosphere paired with what is possibly now my favorite soundtrack in any game. Through the setting of a dark, desolate city, lost only hours after a siege by Covenant forces ,I was confused about the city and what purpose it served in this game until I realized it was a tool to move the plot forward. The main character is used as a vessel for the player to experience the battle (in and around the city) vicariously through other characters when you find "beacons".
Halo 3 ODST had a profound effect on me that I rarely get from any game. Once I started it, I didn't play anything until I completed it. It grabbed me from the moment I started to the very end.

Pros:The Deus Ex bundle with this thing was cheaper than buying my remaining Mankind Divided expansions separately, so in a way, I was paid to add it to my Steam library.

Cons: Everything else.
