This is probably my favorite game of the year. Within minutes I felt it was worth the asking price and that I got my values worth. It reminds me of the TellTale games, but with even better writing, acting and art. I've never experienced a title like this where there are SO many options to pick from, and after my very first play through it felt like the game was actually getting to know me. This game has rogue like elements, incredible storytelling, and had me so invested I had to go ask my mom advice on how to move forward. This is the kind of game anyone can play, there are no fast paced or complicated mechanics, it's a relaxing, yet terrifying decision making process, filled with deep philosophical insights and absolutely fantastic dialogue that will really get you thinking. I can't recommend this game enough.

This game caught me by surprise. It's an RTS-like civilization builder, with rogue-lite elements. There are different races, randomized, maps, resources and affixes, and even an incredible twitch integration. The game is incredibly easy to operate, and the developers are constantly updating the game and are very actively engaged with the community. The game has a scaling difficulty system known as prestige where each time you successfully complete a settlement you can turn up the difficulty for a consistent challenge! The twitch integration allows you to either harm or help the streamer, which is surprisingly innovative, and makes interacting with your favorite streamers even more engaging. I highly recommend this game for anyone who seems interested, you won't regret it.

I have been waiting for a game like this since Final Fantasy Tactics on the PS1.
The cutscenes and storyline are admittedly subpar - but the gameplay is beyond addicting, and it's easy to lose yourself for HOURS min/maxing your squads within the menu screens. I played through the game on Warlord difficulty - with the permanent death feature enabled. I found the game to be challenging - especially if you want to avoid losing units. I found myself wishing I had done some more research on the squad building mechanics before my first playthrough, since i missed potential minx/maxing opportunities due to my own ignorance regarding the trait system. If you enjoy tile based strategy games, this is a fun game that is totally worth your time. I may even replay the game once in order to try and min/max to my highest potential.

Storybook Brawl has become one of my favorite games to stream on Twitch.TV! For those who enjoy Hearthstone; it's a fun alternative with a less problematic company!

It's free to play, and features no Pay 2 Win elements. While you can purchase additional characters, the pools are random each round. This keeps the game fresh and encourages you to try out new synergies and strategies.

Even when I win, I can see ways I can improve which makes the game feel rewarding. I have also heard that their are Esports tournaments that you can enter if you can hit above a 4K rating! Balance changes and Art for the cards are also updated regularly.

I honestly think this is the best game I have played since Quarantine began. It has Hearthstone, Pokemon, Tabletop and Myst elements.

The strong vibechecks, as well as the incredible soundtrack and meta storybuilding make the game intensely addicting. The characters are vibrant and the pacing of the game is excellent, even after "beating" the game in a single sitting, their is solid replay value due to hidden easter eggs & acheivements.

Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable and aesthetic experiences I've had playing a game. Try it out unless you hate fun & strategy!

This game is both scary & addicting! For some reason their seems to be a decent crossover between people who enjoy League of Legends & Dead By Daylight. The learning curve can be a bit steep but it is a lot of fun and I was able to hit red rank while still having tons of room to improve on my gameplay! People get very tilted and the community has a set of unoffical rules that you will start to learn as you play, everyone has their own opinion about them but the developers clearly reward playing by the "unoffical book" through the bloodpoint reward system and how you rank up faster by camping less & running the killer. Playing killer and survivor feel like very different experiences, and you can very easily be tempted into buying cosmetics, I know I did, so be warned! One of my favorite games lately.
