Ok, when i first got this game i played trough it and didnt enjoy anything about it. I didnt care for the story, i didnt care for the characters and i didnt know how to invest levels. Every gun seemed underpowered, gigs where grindy as all hell and the end result wasnt rewarding at all.

Then i discovered Edgerunners, and the feels discovered me. All of a sudden i fell in love with the world of 2077, and found myself yearning for more content. Had me hooked, and what i found grindy and unrewarding became new, interesting, unique and fulfiling to complete/discover.

The recent updates saw the end of the biggest headache in this game: upgrading items. Now there is no risk of ruining your save by upgrading an iconic too early, and you never feel underpowered as you upgrade trough the new tiers.

(On the other hand, you can have insanely OP stuff in the older system, my Satori dealth close to 1,200dmg per hit. I wonder if those saves are still playable after updates)

You know, its so interesting, this game went trough so many stages:

1. This game was getting hyped up to outrageous levels.
2. Memes started emerging as people waited for its release.
3. When it finally dropped, everyone hated on it for a buggy launch.
4. Finally, everyone gave it another chance after Edgerunners and realised how much this game had to offer.

Surprisngly enjoyable, i will say that learning the game will take about 2-4 games but after you have your controls mapped and know the basics, its a very fun game!

There are a few sweats but then again there will always be sweats in anything
