Eggs and sausages? Coming right up! Let's just toss two eggs from as far as possible, and grab these nice sausages from the floor. Delicious!

Coffee? Ughh, where are those damn coffee lids? Can't drink coffee without a lid now, can you?

Pennywise, that you? Pancakes, soda and a hot dog, you say? Sure. You want lettuce in your hot dog? Hey, that's not funny...

I randomly found this game about 10 years ago, when I was in university. I had fond memories of it, which I had totally forgotten about until one day I, again, randomly stumbled upon it during a publisher sale.

Rampage Knights is a fun and action-packed game with great replayability, and quite challenging gameplay. If you're a fan of adventure-themed beat 'em up games, this is definitely the right choice for you.

Visually appealing and atmosphere rich game. Completed it in 3 hours, but apparently there are other endings I could reach. Funnily enough, as a horror game, it failed to scare me, yet it sure is worth exploring.

The original Knights of Honor is one of my favorite games. So far, Knights of Honor II has been a very satisfactory experience for me. The gameplay mechanics are much more complex, and the game presents a bigger challenge overall. There are some very nice additions from a visual standpoint (your kings and princes change their appearance as they age) and some cool changes in the building style. I like how playing with certain kingdoms gives you unique missions, and I love that they've added shamans and unique traits for Pagan countries.

I haven't really delved that much into the battles. Tried a couple, but they seemed too difficult to grasp for me right now, so will get more into them in a while. In conclusion, if you loved the first game, you will probably enjoy this one, as well.

The narrative grabbed me by the shoulders and much like a movie, wouldn't let me stop it until I finished the story. I don't know if it's worth replaying (multiple endings or different decisions making a real difference) but I can say that it's absolutely worth it for the $3 I spent for it.

"Great is the weapon that cuts on its own."

You can expect countless hours of cursing your luck (or misfortune), endless violence, and losing many of your favorite heroes. Darkest Dungeon will put your resilience to the test. Perhaps you will question why keep on playing a game that can frustrate you so much. The answer lies within the darkest shadows of the catacombs.

Started the game. Got stuck twice, wandered around for 30 minutes, looking everywhere four times, left the game.

I mean this sucks. It's not like I didn't want to play the game and see what it's about, I just didn't have the chance to. If you are going to make some obscure gameplay mechanics, then at least explain them or give some hints. Very frustrating experience.

A pretty fresh game about running a dinner. Well, actually, it's a story-driven narrative about making choices that will change the lives of several individuals. Despite being grim at times, While We Wait Here has a rather laid-back gameplay. It has multiple endings, so it's definitely worth replaying the game. Ultimately, there's something very satisfying in cooking a cheeseburger and making a milkshake, all while uncovering the stories within the game.

Creepy short game with a great atmosphere. The hand-drawn style is truly unique, and the puzzles are interesting, even if one or two of them are a bit obscure.

I first saw this game back in the Autumn of 2004 on a late night Bulgarian TV show. It was late Friday night, the rain gently pouring outside, I was browsing through the channels, when I saw a game, and it immediately grabbed my attention. It was quite unusual to see a game being played on TV. The show continued all night (until 4 AM).

At the time, I knew nothing about this game or the adventure quest genre, but seeing Black Mirror was love at first sight. Back then, having no internet at home, I was completely unaware what this TV show was - the logo was hard to decipher. The next day I watched that channel all day, hoping to see an ad about the show, so I know how it's called, and when to watch it.

Eventually, I found out the show was called Myst, and was aired every Friday from 22:00 to 04:00, and it was divided into two segments. First, gaming news, anime, movies, etc., and around midnight they started playing a game, with viewers calling to navigate the host on what to do, solve puzzles, and essentially play the game together. A bit like online streaming before it was popular or cool.

I spent many long Friday nights watching games. After they finished The Black Mirror, they played Still Life, Aura, Myst 4, Schizm 2. Unfortunately, the show got cancelled, but my love for the genre was sparked.

Many years later, in the 2010s, the host Roro [bg.wikipedia.org] finally managed to get back on air, with a similar show - NEXTTV, this time even longer - 20:00 - 04:00. Together, we managed to play lots of adventure/quest games like The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Subject 13, Keepsake, and so on.

***

The Black Mirror is my favorite game of all time. I've played 5-6 times, I played both sequels 3-4 times, I even played the new one, but I was a bit disappointed. What do I love about BM so much? The story is amazing - dark, gloomy, emotional, deep. The soundtrack is phenomenal, hearing the piano of Lady Eleonor always gives me tremendous nostalgia. The puzzles are hard enough, but not insane. The characters and locations are very well-made.

Sure, some might say the graphics look bad, there is pixel hunting at times, the voicing is bad, etc., but that was never something that bothered me that much as a kid. Of course, playing the game now, I notice some of the flaws I overlooked back then, but they still don't bother me that much. I will always love this game (2 and 3 are also very good), and I hope someday it gets a well deserved remaster.

"Now, there is no judge to pass judgement - there is only me."
Samuel Gordon

PS: Rest in peace, Roro, and thanks for all the fish.
