Umm... so personally... this is the first time this has happened, so I'm a bit surprised. Only a centimeter away... I mean, I don't think there's ever been someone who has gotten this close to me... without a, ya know... calamity occuring. I'm not really... not really sure what happens at one centimeter away... 'cause it's my first time. I don't really understand it either. Seriously. But in the flow of calamity... there's nobody who can attack me. Not a single person. That I know for sure. Wonder of U.

I always wanted to play this game for the longest time, and when I did, I just get bots. Please fix the bots Valve.

I just finished the full game, I got to say. Pretty fun overall. Now, originally, I'm not a huge Sonic fan at all, but I do have some friends who are into it and been growing up with the series ever since. I picked this game up knowing that you can raise the creatures named chao. Which I had to try it out someday because I always adore them and loved the fact one of the characters I liked, Cream, owned one. I decided to get the game when I heard that there's a pc port of it back in February. When i played the game, I had to play with controller because there was no way I was going to play this game with a keyboard. The game was better and wow, I was not expecting to get into this game that much as I did. Besides the chao garden which sold me to play this game in the first place, the gameplay was quite fun. I enjoyed the speeding and running while playing as Sonic and Shadow. Maybe the more fun parts of the game and I did not had a hard time playing as them. However, the run and gun levels as Tails and Eggman, while sometimes fun, a bit disappointing because when I got to play as Tails for the first time, I thought I was going to be able to run and fly around as him. Sadly, you never get to do that in the actual gameplay unless you get to play as Tails in the chao garden. Eggman on the other hand, I was expecting him to be in his robot weapons. The parts where I have mixed feelings towards are the treasure hunt levels with Knuckles and Rouge. I was not keen on most of the time playing on their levels because of the fact I'm not the best at finding things and the fact that the gems were in random places everytime you play them. A lot of them were really fustrating to complete and most of them take me more than 10-20 mins and hell that one space level of Rouge towards the end was really difficult and that took me a retry because I died and that took me about 40 mins to complete because the gems were switched. I'll be honest, I did not understand the story, I had to skip some of the cutscenes because I did not quiet understand what I was going for and I just felt like playing the game. I'm sure I can look up videos on explaining the story more and will be easier to understand by that in my freetime. Besides that, the music was really good and fitted the game really well. The music fitted matched well with the levels depending on who you're playing as. Despite not being a fan of the Knuckles and Rouge levels, I adore their music the most, the music goes the same with Sonic's and Shadow's. I obviously think the chao garden is the best part of the game. I think its wonderful that the game rewards you by visiting your chao's after a level when you get the key and by the items you collected throughout the levels. The replay value is definitely the biggest factor in this game because of this feature alone. It really does make you care about getting better at the levels, getting, raising more chao, and making a community of them. Overall, the game is decent and has solid moments of being enjoyable. As my first Sonic game and even my first review on Steam, I think this game is worth for what it is. I think this game has DLC which I may consider getting, and may even check out the first SA game since I played this once first. If you are considering getting into Sonic or want a game that's fast paced, but also just want to chill and enjoy the small things such as raising cute, little creatures. I highly recommend this game for anyone as a start!
