Is the Ferdinand or Elefant really the worst tank destroyer? Well, it got one of the thickest armor of any WW2 tank and probably the best gun (88mm Pak 43), that will crush anything on the battlefield just like Tiger 2 and Jagdpanther but what makes it so terrible bad then? The answer is - mobility. This tank is just so terrible at mobility, every turn you make takes ages and of course reaching to actual frontline takes as well a plenty of time. Well, you could just sit somewhere back and camp, right? That's probably one of the best things you could do though like so you'll become easy prey for planes that'll hunt you down quick. Also due to Elefant design, its engine is front on the tank so if front penetration happens then very likely the engine will get on fire meaning you need to have a fire extinguisher otherwise you'll just burn down. If you think you can do well with this very slow monster and take down enemy tanks at long ranges, then go for it, otherwise, I'd rather recommend getting Jagdpanther that is much more mobile or Tiger 2, that is more mobile as well.
