Does anyone know why my controller gyro aim will not turn off?? I turned it off in steam big picture mode in controller settings and it still wont disable it. I first played waw totally fine and it wasn't an issue than it turned on randomly and I cant Disable it. I have console enabled i typed in the exec default_controller prompt idk what to do.

Just Use Anti-Micro-X and map your KB buttons to the controller. I set my dad up just fine! Also, rebinding in game seemed to work but I'm sticking with my ANTIMICROX setup.

You are forgetting one other issue.
You can not double bind controller buttons. this becomes an issue if you try to open doors In my case would of been X which was the control scheme for the game back on the 360

@leevee you could use nucleus coop, it tricks your OS into letting you launching a game 2-4 times at the same time. It works with controllers like this guide shows, but can use multiple keyboard, mice, and even separate monitors for each player

Also IMAO as someone who lived through the xbox 360 era I don't get the appeal of fondling two thumb stick and hopping aim assist will snap on a target (even in zombies), but the same instruction above also work for gyro aim controllers like the steam controller and dualshock 4. Just one extra step in steam input set the gyroscope to mouse aim output and setting right trigger to output a mouse left click means from the couch you have full menu access.

Thanks! This worked for my xbox one controller. For the ppl saying "Y NuT Us3 a KeYBoArD N moUsE". Um, because maybe they're not comfortable using it? Or for example in my scenario, I'm sitting on a chair with a gaming laptop on my lap.

just use plutonium it's a lot more simple and easier to use
