How to fix cursor skipping

The first version you download and start after purchase will most likely have the mouse cursor jump around in game and this is how to fix it.

Fixing mouse cursor skip
In order to fix this you need to update scummVM which runs the game. Go to this website and download the windows installer.

Once that is down you can run it and install it into the games folder or into it's own folder and then move the files into the games folder to replace the older version. The location for where you drag the newly downloaded info into is SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Maniac Mansion/ScummVM

Once you find that file just drag and drop the items from the downloaded folder into this and say yes to replace the files.

It might be easiest to install the new version into a file of its own and then go into your games file and drag the new stuff you installed into it and replace the old files.
