In general, the newer a pack is, the more "complete" it will be.
I was so smart to only sporadically save images from during texture creation, so when dlcs added new terrains, it was not always easy to add them completely fitting later on - and I wasn't done when the DE came out, so there are still mods not containing every last terrain.
Most packs have differing styles, so you would have to compare the mod images, to find the one you like best. The mods cover roughly the same spots for the images, so this is easier.
For a lot of them, there exist terrain only mods, like more or less saturated for example.
There are also water versions available separately, so you can mix land and water as you like most.
Other elements, like mountains, rocks, trees etc. are also available separately, and also in versions not used in compilations.
So if you are willing to invest a little more work, you can go through my special mod collections for them, and basically create your own compilation.
Pussywood needs to have a higher load order priority though, so it overwrites the trees present in this mod.
But as before - take a look at my mod manager when the next update is released (hopefully soon) - it will allow you to merge mods and therefore combine forest files from different sources into a new local mod.
My trees you can find here: Ozhara's tree and plant replacements
Individual tree textures are not possible right now, for each type of forest is stored in a multiple image container that a specific tiles graphic is picked from.
So each new graphic means you need to edit the same container - which can only be done by a single mod.
That said - plan is to add functionality to actually create your own container files from local images and multiple other mods from within my mod manager at some point.
