Opening Statement
To even enter the cheats listed in this guide, you have to press the tilde (`), which is almost always located to the left of your 1 key on the keyboard, and above the tab key as well. Press this buttin in-game, and a command console should appear in which you can type in the cheats.

I would also like to note that, while this guide was made by myself for the convinence of steam Rome players, almost all the information compiled here comes from various locations on the internet, such as Ign, cheatcc, gamefaqs, and various total war forums. Thanks, and happy cheating!
"Simple" cheats
These are the cheats that are listed (at least in my opinion) in order of importance, and are easier to input and understand.

Add_money "number": Self explanatory.
Process_cq "settlement": Enter the name of the settlement you want, and the construction queue is completed instantly
(These are most likely the most used and important ones, in my humble opinion, the rest I don't regularly use, but I will list the rest I consider to be important.)
invulnerable_general "general's name": This makes the selected general invincible in combat, but it apparantly only works when entered in a battle, if it is not recognized on the campaign map.
disable_ai: this pretty much shuts down all of the campaign ai, and they don't move around the campaign map at all, but still function in battles.
auto_win "attacker": Gives victory to whoever is attacking, as long as you go with auto-resolve
auto_win "defender": Same as above, but for whichever force is defending
Jericho: Walls collapse in siege battles

For more cheats not listed here (believe me, there are more), please check out either ign's or cheatcc's[www.cheatcc.com] list of cheats.
Ancillaries and Traits
ANCILLARIES
To give characters ancillaries, you use the console command:

give_ancillary "character name" "ancillary"

For example: give_ancillary "Flavius Julius" "drillmaster"

This would give him a drillmaster, and provide a 25% movement increase for his army. An entire list for ancillaries, their descriptions, and bonuses can be found here, It's huge, but just ctrl+f search around, and it should be much easier.

TRAITS
Traits have a similar command:

give_trait "character name" "trait" 1-5

For example: give_trait "Flavius Julius" "GoodSiegeAttacker" 4

This will give our general Flavius a plus 4 to command during a siege attack. All traits range from 1-5, but some cap at 3 or even 2. For a list of traits that another wonderful person(s) has compiled, I redirect you to a gamefaqs list[www.gamefaqs.com].
Halp me, halp you
This was a quick little guide I made, becuase I noticed there wasnt a cheat list on steam, and I needed a quick reminder on a few while playing. If there some important cheat I didn't list, I probably linked it, and if there's something missing, you want to insult my mother, or have any other comment, please leave them below, and my team of highly dedicated monkies will be glad to be of service. Thanks for reading!

First, on ancillaries, if you add a merchant, you increase trade 10%. If you also add a silk merchant, add another 10% to trade. An angriculturalist adds to farrming output, as does an overseer. In RTW-BI, a procurator adds 10% to tax yield, while a pontifex will add several points to law. Also it's fun to add a mistress, a barbarian slave or a famous courtesan.

Second, on traits, you want your general to be a good miner, farmer, builder, trader, taxman and engineer. these all increase production for your city. Also, being just is good, and a kind ruler will reduce squalor.

Make your general a GoodCommander, a GoodDiplomat and a GoodAdministrator.

These are just a few of the main things you can do with traits and ancillaries to increase trade, production and stability.

For campaign mode you can add unlimited money through editing the descr_strat file.
However, for most people first you need to remove the radial button from READ ONLY button as you click through the following FOLDERS, click Apply as well as to all other folders then open up the next folder and repeat, here are the files to remove READ ONLY:

Program Files (x86)
Steam
Steamapps
Common
Rome Total War Gold (this may read slightly different depending upon your version)
Data
world
Maps
Campaign
imperial_campaign

Inside the Imperial_campaign folder, scroll down to descr_strat and open it.
Choose the playable Faction that you want to play as, then edit the the monetary value (Denarii).
I normally add 500 million as 500000000.

Click the X to close the file and click save.
Now go run the game and find a stack load of cash.
