Description
Very simple. The players health bar is sorted.

By default its bone hearts > soul hearts > black hearts, but you can change the order by using the Mod Config Menu.

Works with the No Health Cap mod.



This is included in POTATO PACK 2.

After some extensive testing it seems this mod is indeed not the culprit! I can post the logs here but I don't think it would matter much. Thanks for all your efforts!

try deleting your local copy of the mod, if it still happens after steam downloads a fresh copy could you check your log file after a crash and tell me what it says?

Revisiting this 2.5 years after reporting it crashes the game at Mines / Ashpit II; still the case to this very day. We're up to Patch 1.7.9b now. You still cannot collect the second Knife piece to continue on the path of the Beast with this mod enabled (or reload the save there for that matter).

It's a real shame. This mod is one of a kind, and offers really great functionality at that. It does work on every other floor, but being locked out of an entire alt path sucks bad.

i don't think this works with Rotten Hearts, seeing as trying to pick one up just makes the whole heart container sprite disappear. maybe a mod or sprite rework for the health is clashing with this. i dont know, but it's not too bad.

if I had to guess I'd say its something with the 'cursed fog' effect that nullifies all your items, will look into it

This mod crashes the game at Mines II on the latest Repentance update (Patch 1.7.6)!

It seems the way the heart order is calculated causes a clash with Mother's Shadow chase sequence removing all the health items you've obtained. You will also not be able to reload your run in that area with this mod enabled.

Gubbish, might I recommend the 'Blessing of the Crow' mod? It makes those things prioritize using red hearts/filled bone hearts.

Bone hearts at the end of your health bar lets you use sacrifice rooms, curse rooms and the Gehenna door without sacrificing soul hearts. Protecting bone hearts for the last boss is probably stronger overall though.

red hearts are always first, can't change that
