Just a guide on a bug that allows having an unlimited amount of units while ignoring the population limit.
Because having an army of cannons/shamans/meteors is fun.

Requirements
  • Being a Darklings race and having an Empath with Ressurect and Dichotomize skills
  • Having a Soulmonger to sacrifice own units and restore abilities of Empath (optional)
  • Having a Cannoneer to quickly kill own units (optional)
  • Having a Shades Soul Collector to duplicate enemy units (optional)
Performing
  1. Get a non-special unit that can be dichotomized and resurrected.
  2. Dichotomize the unit several times so it has low health, get rid of "waste" units with high health, and save a copy of a unit as a template for future duplications.
  3. Dichotomize the target unit several times.
  4. Kill the splitted units (yes, you can kill friendlies). You can still use Empath or the units themselves, or sacrifice some to Soulmonger, or kill them all with a single blow of a Cannoneer.
  5. Select Ressurect ability, make sure that the units can be resurrected, and revive them. The resurrected units don't have Dichotomized debuff, so they add up to population while ignoring the limit, and you can heal them near a Temple of Nightfall.
  6. Dichotomize the saved unit and repeat steps 3-5 until you get enough units.
Notes
  • Sometimes killed units drop potions.
  • Use Divine Journey ability to give the target unit an item. The dichotomized units will have the same items, so you can sell these for some gold.
  • Sometimes not every unit is resurrected, so you have to perform the bug again.
  • Get some template units before duplicating, so you don't have to kill own army if you forgot some of them.
  • Get some enemy units and duplicate them, this way you can surprise other players or get more powerful units (shamans, lol)

get foresters,seedkeeper with as much chance to not create plants,you need elves with shop and nomads with repairs of other neutrals.eventualy get troll camp for gold pot.Build a gold outpost in your base next to gold mine and build towers wherever you want.you also have to wait for pot of gold to exceed 3000 gold in order for your workers to keep working until 10k.build an army of wolves and send them anywhere to swarm like flies while you keep building the entire map of towers and plants.

I played RK as a kid in 2009 or something.
I was so excited when I found this exploit but I didn't know it copied items as well xD
