The Future of Tactical FPS ?? Simply NO

It's basically a dream, as I don't like to have 2000 games and I will not buy 20 games of the same genre.
For me it's or Ready or not or zero hour, ..
I noticed it allows all playstyles and taste and so on.
One could even brief over a last stand over an alien invasion and fight as the space ship of the trooper lands, or do sort of Prairie fire, or do a SF night Direct action...Will see.
I think we already have the games but this could substitute if Squad goes bad. I don't think it will go bad. The problem is having the critical mass around you.

The problem is: is the community ready or all wanna just pew pew? - You hit the nail on the head there imo . In theory OHD can support all sort of modes ,but like you say what people actually end up playing remains to be seen.

I am more of a tactical strategical and story campaign immersive hardcore simulation player, not looking to play rounds over rounds of something unless it's something realistic with milsim comms etc. Hopefully it will feature also radio squench embedded so people do not start to third party and cheese the challenge, and also normal voip so u can taunt opponents.
I hate these games that become simplified extremely arcadey experiences without any human complexity what so over. I am all in for serious co-op, the problem is: is the community ready or all wanna just pew pew?

late for Squad ? maybe a little bit . I got it years ago for 15 quid...It's good but I'd wait for a steam sale . As for explosions who knows , personally I'm hoping to see RS2 style napalming at some point .

If explosions are gonna be realistic like Squad, not even gonna buy Squad (and I know I am late)

i think it shows promise if they want to take it forward to become a full fleshed out game, but is nowhere near being the future of fps. i went back to see a little bit of the history behind their development and over the course of 2+ years (that i saw, im sure there's much more) the game is still missing basic features of a first person shooter, especially one dubbed to be "tactical" or even "realistic" by bluedrake himself.

whose opinion ?or are you just treating us all to another of your pointless generalisations.

just admit it, youd rather regurgitate everyone elses opinion rather than having your own

You didn't even have the conviction to back your own argument up....that's just tragic.
