The Alchemy is not the only science in development at the houses. A new one, called Natural Philosophy, tries to describe the motion of the bodies in space and time.
His maximum exponent, the renowed natural philosophist Van Merlo, has made a novel invention; he is capable of give life and movement to inanimate objects with what he calls "electricity". But, in order to manipulate these misterious power, he has to tangle a serious of metals in an intrincate way. That is why he has asked for help to the greatest alchemists of all houses.
