(OUTDATED) OMORI Character Mod

Ever wanted to skulk through the basement as your favorite depressed teenager?
Have a bad case of brainrot from a certain indie RPG you played a while back?

Well, this is the mod for you!

From one dream world to the next, fight your way through the deep depths as the stoic, knife-welding OMORI!

Starting with his trusty knife in hand, OMORI is a well rounded yet powerful combatant, much like he is in the regular game!

While mom's knife might seem like an overpowered start, a nasty damage divider helps to keep his balance in check, putting him on par with a weaker Azazel.

With this huge hit to damage, the mom's knife play-style shifts to be a bit more balanced when you can't rip through every enemy in mere seconds.

But that's not all...

SUNNY, the similarly stoic dreamer makes his appearance as well, although his knife seems to have already been taken by an absent minded friend of his.

A half-decade of staying indoors isn't sure to do you any good, as SUNNY seems to have taken hits to his damage and speed stats. Sporting another (yet much less aggressive) damage divider, SUNNY makes up for what he lacks with his rate of fire.

To offset his lowered damage, he has his own tear rate multiplier! Every tears up will pack a little more punch then they usually do. To add to this, SUNNY's tear rate cap has been lowered from 5 to 6, so that he can make the most out of tear ups that he can.

This is my first mod created for The Binding of Isaac, so I've been learning as I've went. While I certainly have a much better understanding of the Lua and the rest of the game's code than I did before, many more technical features I want to add still allude me.

The features that I have planned, but aren't quite possible for me yet are:

The descriptions under OMORI and SUNNY's character selects are merely just for show as of now.

If anyone is interested in working on this mod with me, when it comes to the coding aspect, add me on steam and let me know! I don't know what incentive I could offer, but I'm sure we'll figure something out!
