Finally, after spending dozens of hours and scouting hundreds of seeds, I'm finally ready to share what I've discovered. Here I will list all of the coolest seeds I found, including the best, the decent, and the ones that were just simply interesting.

Update 1.3 has brought quite a few changes to terrain generation. These seeds were all discovered in version 1.26 and some aspects of them are now outdated. From testing, I've determined that terrain elevation, spawn location, boat location, guardian statue location, cave location, cave loot, and ground items such as apples and mushrooms all spawn identically in 1.3. However, in the update, structures like huts and carts, powerup chests, ores and trees, and non-guardian statues all spawn differently with all seeds.

To give you an example of what this means, the rare cave seed still spawns caves inside each other, my 4 best seeds still spawn the same caves with the same loot, the captain guardian seed is the same, and the apple seed still has a dense field of apples. On the flipside, the golden seed no longer has a cart at spawn, the free chests seed no longer has any free chests near spawn, and both of the seeds with a hut on a cave no longer spawn a hut on the cave, but the cave is still there.

This does make me feel a little sad that many of the cool seeds I found will no longer be the same, but I knew this was likely to happen. Still, I think what I found here is interesting and a lot of cool stuff still works, just keeping in mind what I've already mentioned here.

Oh, you want to know the coolest seeds? The rarest? The seeds that carry you to victory? Well, here's what I found.

Night Blade Seed: 60d533d1000

We'll start with the night blade seed. This was the second seed I ever searched and I was disappointed to not find another, oh well. Start by climbing the hill immediately left of spawn and you'll find a cave by a lake, inside is the night blade.



2 Black Shards Seed: milk923

Next we'll look at the rarest seed. At least I think it is. To the left of spawn is a cave with 2 black shards inside. Black shards are 10 times as likely to spawn as night blades, but 2 of them and all in the same cave is extremely rare indeed. With a party of 2, you could equip yourselves with 2 night blades very quickly.

1st Gronk's Sword Seed: milk940

The first gronk's sword seed. Head south from spawn to find a cave with gronk's sword inside.






2nd Gronk's Sword Seed: 1764004147

At some point I stopped typing in my own seed codes and just searched random ones to scout quicker. Anyway, behind you from spawn is a hill, climb it to find a cave by the edge of the island. Inside is the second gronk's sword.

Now I'll quickly go through all of the decent seeds I found. None of them are all that special, but if you want a good seeds that doesn't include night blades or gronk's sword then this section might help you out.

(1.26 only) Ironclad Seed: 60d533d1

This is the very first seed I ever scouted. Visible from spawn is a smith hut. There are a bunch of goodies inside, including a steel sword, a steel pickaxe, steel boots, steel pants, and a bunch of iron bars.

3 Pickaxes, 3 Caves Seed: milk921

From spawn, turn around and climb the hill. On top of the hill is a cave with a gold pickaxe. Beyond, within line of sight of the hill, are 2 more caves, each with a gold pickaxe. There's also a hammer shaft and a blade between the 3 caves.

2 Pickaxes, 2 Caves Seed: milk973

Directly in front of you from spawn are 2 caves, each with a gold pickaxe.

The 2s Seed: milk1030

There are 2 caves near spawn. One has 2 blades inside while the other has 2 gold pickaxes in it.






(1.26 only) The Golden Seed: -1158355888

A cave and a cart sit inches from spawn. The cart has a gold axe in one of the chests and the cave has a gold pickaxe inside. There's also a fair amount of coins to start with and a bunch of shrines nearby. One last thing to note is all of the guardians and gems are along the northern portion of the map while the boat is directly south. If your goal was to beat the game faster, this seed is pretty decent.

(1.26 only) Huts and Carts Seed: -1263257385

There are a ton of huts and carts along a trail starting from spawn with a ton of goodies.






Apple Seed: -676292

North-west of spawn in front of a cave is an incredibly dense field of apples, enough to get well over 50 of them in 1 minute. West of spawn is another cave, this one has a black shard inside.




Black Shard Seed: -1495841565

Spawn an inch away from a cave with a black shard in it.

(1.26 only) Free Chests Seed: 1024066575

This seed gives you 4 free chests right off the bat every time. Reset until you get the items you want.






(1.26 only) Good Stuff Seed: -401558089

Spawn by a hut with a steel axe and bread. South-east of spawn on a hill is a cave with a gold pickaxe, a black shard, and a blade.

If you just wanna see some of the coolest seeds that the terrain generation can offer, this is the section for you.

Super Rare Cave Seed: -1606374021

There are 3 caves very close to each other near spawn. In fact, 2 of them spawned inside each other! It's difficult, but possible to climb inside and get all of the chests.




(1.26 only) Gronk Seed: milk898

Near the boat is a plateau with 3 gronk statues on it. There's also a 4th gronk statue at the base of the hill as well. Plus, there's a chest floating above the boat on this seed.




(1.26 only) Captain Big Chunk Seed: milk919

A big chunk statue spawned on the boat in this seed.

Captain Guardian Seed: -1350902298

Spawn on the boat. One of the guardian statues is right next to you on the boat.






1st 3 Guardians Seed: milk978

In front of you at spawn are 3 guardian statues.

2nd 3 Guardians Seed: 664913579

Another seed with 3 guardian statues really close to each other.

(1.26 only) 1st Home Seed: milk1027

Spawn inside of a hut.

(1.26 only) 2nd Home Seed: 1943828036

Also a seed where you spawn in a hut.



1st Marooned Seed: -740533626

The boat spawns on a mini island of its own.

2nd Marooned Seed: 1299118679

This time you spawn on a mini island and have to swim to the mainland.

3rd Marooned Seed: 1365691912

Another seed where you spawn on a mini island and have to swim.

(1.26 only) 1st Hut on a Cave Seed: -2059956259

Here's a seed where a cave near spawn has a hut on top of it.

(1.26 only) 2nd Hut on a Cave Seed: -243834317

And one more seed where a cave near spawn has a hut on top of it.






(1.26 only) Big Chunk Seed: -1559598326

3 big chunk statues sit next to each other near spawn.

(1.26 only) The Mithril Cave Seed: 2120775582

A cave is near spawn covered in a field of mithril ore. Inside both of the cave chests are stacks of mithril ore.

Buried Treasure Seed: 845127205

A cave is visible to the right of spawn. There is one chest inside, buried under the ground.
