Start the game like usual

go to cave to get some spirit stones then go to town

after talking to the tavern guy go to the village and talk to them

go to the cave to fight the boss

!DONT KILL THE BOSS! let the boss defeat you

go back to town to rest, go cultivate outside to lvl up buy and equip new manuals

equip the skills and go to tavern to get the quest

go outside and fight the bandit, save first if u not confident enough

choose negotiate

slaughter optimus fort

defeat the boss

and then choose tell him to continue

bury them

go to the village and give her 800 spirit stones

go back to town and give her everything (top left option)

you must wait 1 month to receive the reward

and get the juices

sometimes you get 2 manuals but 1 orange manual is guaranteed

HI, I am playing in hell difficulty and when I go to town the tavern guy don't show yellow quest. Is the new update change that?

you got purple because you either sold the necklace or read the note or didnt give the spirit stones to the mother

Make sure you have the Talisman the Bandit gave you, on you or it won't give you the reward until you put it back on your character. Just FYI in case others put it in the Tree Storage like I.

@bossmaker , i tried it on chaos difficulty still got the orange manual, i think your gameplay was mesed up xd

Couldn't get orange, only purple on Hell difficulty, unable to get quest on Chaos... unless my gameplay was messed up lol

Thanks, btw the orange manual seems to always be your highest stat. E.g. If i want to play sword but my highest stat is spear I have to hold off on the quest until I can get some sword fruits.

Also as long as you retreat from Jagu the first time, you can do the secret quest at any time. The first time I finished it was 4 years into my game.

i manage to get the story upto train & get stronger manual and skipped the town dialogue.
