WRC 10 - Super-detailed Game Wheel Force Feedback
By BOOST
Follow these instructions to get detailed force feedback on your steering wheel.

You've probably noticed that if you set high steering revolutions (for example, 1080 degrees) in the WRC 10 game, the better you feel the feedback on the steering wheel. But the problem is that with such a degree of steering it is difficult to control the car and even more so to show the best time.

How do you avoid losing the quality of the feedback effects while still playing with the full range of wheel feedback effects?
To get started, you need to set the maximum steering wheel degree in the game that your game steering wheel supports. Then go to the steering wheel driver and set the steering degree with which you plan to play in WRC 10.
If your steering wheel supports shortcut keys for switching the steering degree, you can use it as an option. It is important to remember that in the game there was a maximum steering angle and in the driver the one with which you will drive.

To compare the difference between the effects as it was before and as it has become, I recommend taking the Monte Carlo Col de Braus in a mixed coating where you can feel all the effects of the coating.

My video where I tell (though this video is for Russian players)

With G920, it worked for me the opposite way, setting max range in logitech g hub and actual steering range in wrc. Doing it according to the guide caused the wheel to use the full range in game, and also without soft lock, as if overriding the driver/ghub setting.
The info popup in g hub says to put the range at full if using in-game adjustment; maybe it's wheel-specific, I don't know.
The result is that the feedback feels more precise and less intense/forceful. Previously, it felt not very sensitive but too strong, and not as helpful.
Thanks to this guide anyway for helping me find a better setting. :violettOK:

Excellent hint! This really made a huge difference for me with my T500RS wheel :lid::rockon::thumbalift:

Works perfectly, thank you for the tip!

I have found that the game forgets various settings when loading the game or alt-tabbing out. This happens for audio, FFB and game settings. Just opening the screen for those options loads up the saved settings.

Now if only WRC 10 allowed me to set max wheel angle ingame... WRC 8 works fine, 10 - not at all.

Started all new and took it serious now. My former best time beaten for 14 seconds at first serious try :-) He is right, there IS a change, it's subtile but very effective! Guess I expected something stronger. In my opinion the description "super detailed" FFB is a little misleading. At least I don't notice more details, just an incredible accurate FFB. Which is a very big help and makes it feel much better and my driving is a lot more accurate now, thanks to your guide!
Feel like I should also mention that since some days I've put the motor vibration all off. It's a strong, but all in all very useless feedback, which leeds to not feeling the really important information that you need.

Stumbled upon this and wondered about over 400 views without a single comment that it works. But since it sounded easy and fast to try this, I just did. At first I thought that I don't feel anything that changed, but I had to set the sensitivity of the steering much higher, from 0 to 5, for mastering the corners, since changing from 540 to 900° and changing to 180° in LG HUB didn't work for me, couldn't get through 1,2 and 3 corners. Then I drove a bit further (practicing in Chile) and got a green mark on the passed sector for the new best time. Didn't even try that, just tested the new setting. Drove further and noticed that I don't do a single small mistake anymore. Next green sector.

Nice! But can I set 1080 in the game if this option is disabled?
