Also @alostromeo4u I've updated the Guide with a backup link, it should be available at Nexus. The HoP forums are a bit choppy to use now but last I heard theyr'e clearing out some old threads so it should improve

You'll just have to shift the Europe files back out of "assets" and "custom" in that "/common/Sid Meier's Pirates" folder when you don't wanna use the mod anymore, and use the original exe instead of the modded one (can shift that back out of common/Sid Meier's Pirates as well). Hope that makes sense. When I wanna use different mods I just move them back out of custom and assets into a separate folder I use to store them

Bit of a computer novice here, will installing this European Mod prevent me playing the original version of the game (the Caribbean Map)?

This was lots of fun to make... you might encounter the odd glitch (obviously) like Spanish supervillains rubber banding from the Med to the Spanish Netherlands - of course, the solution is to take Antwerp and Dunkirk back for the Dutch ;) (and French or English, depending on your version of history).

Also lots of fun to reinforce England's historic claims on Calais and Le Havre, or push the French empire south into Bilbao and Barcelona (which they briefly occupied under Napolean IIRC)
