How to Get the FREE Elite White Arabian in Red Dead Redemption 2
  • You can find the White Arabian on the northwestern side of Lake Isabella in Grizzlies West. To start, Fast Travel to Strawberry and ride north.
  • You should find the white horse in the snowy bank around the frozen lake. It lives alone, without other horses.
  • Once spotted, approach the Elite White Arabian very slowly as she will spook easily.
  • Study her with RB
  • After you study the White Arabian, you'll gain a “Calm Bar” which shows her alert level. Slowly approach while constantly hitting the button shown to calm her.
  • You will then unlock a Pat button. Pat her.
  • Then you get the option to mount her.
  • Once mounted, the White Arabian will try her hardest to buck you off. Fight her movement with the left stick to keep from falling off. After a while, she will finally break, and the horse will be yours.
  • Transfer your saddle to the Elite White Arabian to keep her and then ride to a Stable to improve her stats even further.
The other Arabian Horses still boast impressive speed and acceleration, but the Black coat can only be bought from Chapter 4 onwards from the Saint Denis Stable, and the Rose Grey Bay coat can only be bought at the Epilogue in the Blackwater Stable.

@NoGood232, Buell is a Dutch Warmblood owned by Hamish Sinclair, you can get him after the stranger side mission that comes right after completing Chapter 5. It's around O'Creagh's Run I think, you can find Sinclair sitting by a rock next to the road and he will ask you to find Buell for him, I believe the side mission will be divided into two or three missions, at the end of the last one, you can get Buell but I won't spoil the rest!

I can attest to having caught the red coat (actual name?) Arabian West of Owanjila on PS$, so not PC exclusive. I have looked for and never found the one near Wapiti

Thanks for adding the special edition horse. It lets me compare it to the others I find/train.

My gator via sawed off was just a way for testing horse calmness. A standardised test if you will. Not meant for regular gator hunting.

I believe I had the White Arabian and Missouri Fox Trotter in my first playthrough. Since I knew where the Arabian was I just went for it as soon as I could.
I like using a Rifle for the gators and I have a good headset to hear those snakes, so I never really ran into any issues (pun intended) unless I ran into a tree.

That be a nice addition. Was debating on an upgrade though I had the bonus horse.

Temperate wise the American Standard is very calm. I was use a sawed off shotgun with slugs on alligators or even all but had it step on rattle snakes. Its very calm.

I think the Ultimate edition Thorougbred (Reverse Dappled?) is missing from the list. I think its speed 7 accel 5 but thats with a level 4 bonding.
