CDs Database Searcher

For those who are new in the franchise, in the original Playstation games, you can go to shine and generate a new monster depending of the CD (Compact Disk) you inserted on the Playstation. Many of these were pretty rare since they needed specific music/videogames disks. Now in the new DX version, you must find in a database of disks for the monster you desire (Artist and Album name) or just searching a random disk. I found this page where you can search for the monster you desire:

Just filter the monster main and sub type and a list of available CDs will be displayed.

NOTES:

* This won't work in the original Playstation version.
* You can contribute in the page with the album and artist you found, just read the submit rules.
* The same album and artist works diferent in each game.

My apologies. There’s no edit button like on the regular forum posts for these guide comments, only delete. I’d felt my initial response had been too abrasive and reactive, so I had revised it. then later saw the revision was not there so I thought I had just forgot to post the revision.

Spek, you’re linking my website in your guide. Stray is claiming malware when there isn’t any. I’m explaining the possible reason they experienced slowness trying to open a 40+ MB spreadsheet.

I am the Owner of LegendCup.com . The downloadable excel file containing the complete CD Database is massive with millions of cells worth of data and can really slow down a system that can't handle it. MS Excel handles it best but can still be slow, other spreadsheet apps are even slower

Additionally there is a Macro warning because it doubles as a search tool, using scripts, to locate specific Stat offset ranges and which Title/Artists produce them.

The file has been downloaded over 16,000 times as of this date and was assembled by several outstanding members of the MR community.

Can't 100% confirm, but DL'd the monster list from Legend Cup and the next day my PC had to be wiped, became slow/inoperable. Possible malware

@lemzkie666 in both Monster Rancher 1 or 2: Go to town and select "Shrine". Inside, go to "Disc Stone" and a new menu will appear where you can type the artist or album. You must have no monsters or all your monsters must be frozen to enter this menu.
