For what i heard, the creator was far ahead of its time.
Sadly his vision was not met with a lot of tickets sold at the box office.
Likely that was due to more mainstream mangas being made and such.
That's why his initial project was cut short.
It's been 20 years since i last recalled this, so i'm a bit rusty here and there.
Anyway, i stick to what i said about Ninja Scroll.. It's sheer brillaince!
