Breakwaters - How to backup Saved Games

As of the creation of this guide, Breakwaters (v0.2.49) does not support Steam Cloud services for its Saved Games.

This is a short guide on how to manually backup your progress and Saved Games on Windows OS.

Navigate to the following path in file manager C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\LocalLow\SoaringPixels
(select your appropriate Windows User instead of "xxxxx")




Backup Saved Games
To backup all progress (both world and character), simply copy the whole folder named "Breakwaters" and save it somewhere on your PC.





Done!


Now you can store and/or move your whole progress to different devices.
To load a previous save, navigate back to the Saved Games location, delete the existing "Breakwaters" folder and copy/replace an older saves folder in its place!

Note that your progress may become corrupted/unsupported with newer game patches.
I suggest making note of the latest build version each Saved Games folder was created on, this way it may be possible to revert game patches in order to play your older saves successfully.
