Teen Sims aging and can no longer go to High School?
By ❤Ilona
There's a new Bug on The Sims 4 that makes your Households (or 'not playable households') age every time you return to game, either after coming from CAS or even just by merely loading the game.

As we all know this BUG is super annoying and time wasting. But even more annoying to those who got the 'High School Years Expansion'. Because once your teen sims age, you can no longer return to school (not even with 'cheat sims info') so this bug is really upsetting.

But don't worry, i've compilated a few solutions that might save your skin for awhile, until they patch this silly bug.

(A) NOT YET EXPERIENCED THIS BUG?
~Go immediately to the 3 dots top right of the screen/ Game Options/ Gameplay:
-Select ''Auto Age Played Sims (NO)";
-Deselect ''Auto Age Unplayed Sims";
-And just to be sure, put ''Sim Lifespan Short''.

(B) ALREADY EXPERIENCING THIS BUG?

-First of all, if the playable sim of yours aged from Teen to 'Young Adult', you will NEVER gonna be able to put him/her back to High School, not even with 'shift+cheats sims info'.

So here is the options you have:

I. Longest Method Load an older saved game and do everything i explained at (A). Sometimes you can click on a saved game and go to the small rounded icon that says ''RECOVER SAVE'' or something like that. It allows you to recover the past overwrited saves on that Save File in special.

If you are worried about the stuff you might lose, like new build u did with the new saves or households you edited?
Just save them to gallery and added them up again to the respective lots. I'm sorry about the relationships progress, this one can't be rescued.

II. Shortest Method You can also do everything on (A) but, instead of loading an older save, simply go to 'Edit Households' and create a sinbling of the Teen Sim that you wanna play. All the triggers will be reset so alls left is rename him/her and edit a bit of the appearance.

I hope this can be helpful for y'all. Since i had a really hard time finding out by my own.
If this guide was helpful, please remember rating and fav to reach more ppl in need for this! :)
