I like the hypnosis plasmid because fighting if fighting one bid daddy isn't enough for a splicer, now you got two mfers ready to kick your sh*t

Also remember you have to upgrade Winter Blast to get any goodies out of the corpses. On the low level you have to let them melt before the kill shot. If you kill 'em frozen (and why wouldn't you? I'll tell you why...) they explode into nothing but something gruesome to drop in your whisky. You need to upgrade so they leave loot boxes behind. Sure we all know that but it's a beginner tip for people who need this thread.

Meh. Winter Blast is for noobs. Annoy the piss out of Splicers with bees, endless bees. Higher ranks send swarms splitting off from each other chasing everybody, and top rank turns corpses into bee nest traps. Winter Blast used to be my main weapon, til I discovered the power of bees and dodging a bit.

IF you want to fight Big Daddies, in the first game, use electricity, particularly electro gel. Second game I dunno, just shoot / run like fuck / repeat. Though many of the second game's levels have really good trap / ambush areas you can set up to deal with Daddies.

Add in Drill Expert and the drill damage tonics (they stack) and eve saver and this build can be done even on the hardest difficulty. Save drill fuel for big daddies and carve your enemies into ice sculptures!

on hardest mode ? :D
