My opinion: Wolf 3D is very historical but just kinda sucks to play now. However I did play a GZDoom mod which converted Doom into Wolf3D and then it was actually fun because it was just Wolfenstein with Doom controls. Long story short, if they would remaster Wolf3D and redux the controls then it would actually be very fun, because it's not a bad game aside from the awful control scheme.

Also, Duke3D is pretty fun but man those levels get so damn confusing at times. My favourite boomer shooter has always been the original DOOM titles and I think my mind still has yet to be changed on that.
