"Alisa" is a great game, and there is an option to play it with a few gamepads (XBOX, for example).

Gamers complained about the impossibility to play this game with other controller models. Personally, my problem is not a normal option to set D-PAD and Triggers for actions (maybe it's a bug, but still).

But it made me create this tutorial.

And yes, we will need the XPADDER.

Xpadder is the keyboard emulator for videogame controllers (gamepads). It will help you to play any PC game with your lovely gamepad, not the only Alisa.

You need to search and get the Xpadder by yourself, it's easy to find, don't worry.

After that, you'll need to install it somewhere and open it.

You will see this:


As Xpadder is asking, click "New" to create layout (keys emulation). It will open the new window (keys setup):



1) Image is optional. I've made a small pack of images (Xbox360, Xbox One, PS), you can grab it here (mediafire .com/file/z5uqsbh7hdlndz1/Alisa+gamepads.7z). Or you can download controller images from the Internet. Or leave it blank.


2) Sticks. If you have them on your gamepad, press "☐ Enabled". After that press on sticks as Xpadder asks for. After that a circle (stick image) will appear. You should move it onto your picture. If you don't have Sticks, just ignore this tab and go to the next.

3) DPad. This is WASD/Arrows. Press "☐ Enabled" and do opertions which Xpadder will ask to do.

4) Buttons. Press every button you have on your controller. Triggers don't count, they will not appear. Place the button symbols on buttons in your image.

5) Triggers. Same thing as earlier.

After that, press "✓ OK".

After that your Xpadder should be like this:

The default PC keys looks like that:

Don't change that, just leave this as is.

Now look at the Xpadder. See those blank white buttons? Press on them. For example, a "B" button. You will see the PC keyboard. Now choose the key which "B" will emulate. For me it will be "Run/Reload", which is Left Shift. So I'll press Left Shift. For "X" button I'll use "Ctrl" (Action button). Etc.

At the end your gamepad will look like this:

And...this is it! I mean, now you can save your Xpadder settings and run the game. Now you can play it with your gamepad without any problems!

This tool is pretty easy to use, and I hope my instructions won't confuse you.
