THE PARKING
You escaped from the parking.

Take the elevator at the end of the level.

THE OFFICE ROOMS
You escaped from the office rooms.

Open the blue door and enter the Poolrooms.










On the left side you see the Security Codex (it´s the same every time) to decipher the symbols and on the right side a map for the possible present locations made by an anonymous user.

The Backrooms
You escaped from the backrooms.

Go through the final red door after the Poolrooms and complete the game for the first time.

THE SEWERAGE
You escaped from the sewerage.


Complete the level to get the achievement, it may take some hours to solve (1-3 hours).

The Sewers changed with the last update; information could be outdated!

How to enter level 34 (The Sewerage)?
After you have played the "Fun Game" and got the red card (in the Office) you go back through the checkpoint to the parking lot.

From there you can see a red door on the right wall where the red keycard is needed.

Now you can enter the level.

Only read further in this section if you want to know how to solve the puzzles in this level.
This map (made by Noctember/LoudMouth1202) shows you the points of interest in the sewers.
Another version of a detailed sewer map is made by SpeedrunSin:
1. "Water Treat" key and "Sewer Storage Room" key (Priority High)

The keys are always next to the dead people you can see the spawn spots on the map above.

These can also be found more easily later with the metal detector.




2. Angles for the "Weight" puzzle (Priority Low)
You can see the angles marked on the map in the top right corner (it is next to a body).

To get there from the start you have to go:

right, left, right, left, left, right, right, right, left
or
straight, left, right, right, straight to the end of the tunnel and then right, right.

3. "Sewer Exit Left Cable" code (Priority Low)
You can see the "Sewer Exit Left Cable" code on the map in the bottom right corner.
(It is also next to a dead body)

To get there from the start you have to go:

right, straight, right, left, right, right, right.



4. Locker code (Priority High)
You will find the locker code next to the dead person in the anteroom of the "Water Treat" (Look at the map), you dont need a key to get there.

Getting started with the puzzles

Step 1: Locate the "Lever" room.
What do you have to do in this room?

• Open the locker on the left side with the locker code to receive the metal detector.
  
• Look up the cable code which can be used in the storage room.
  
• Pick up the lever (there is only one in the level), which is located on the floor.

Step 1,5 (Priority Medium):: Collect 2 of 3 medallions with the metal detector in the water.

You can do this whenever you want, you can see the possible spots of the medallions on the map.

The third one can be collected later after a different puzzle.




Step 2: Locate the "Sewer Storage" room (Marked as petrol room on the map above)
What do you have to do in this room?

• Enter the cable code, the fuse is on the wall (the spike trap will stop working).
  
• Pick up the bucket
  
• Pick up the petrol cans (you will need 3 cans).

Step 3: Locate the "Oil" room.
What do you have to do in this room?

• Find the full oil drum and fill three petrol cans.
  
• Make sure you dont get killed by the clumps ;D

Step 4: Locate the "Maze" room
What can you do in this room?

• Solve the maze but make sure you dont softlock yourself.
  
• Go through the locked door by breaking the lock with the pliers.
  
• Enter the spike room (it should be deactivated because of the fuse in the storage room).
  
• Solve the number riddle.

After you solved the number riddle you can walk through the door on your right.
There will be a dead guy holding the third medallion.
Before you pass out because of this large and overwhelming level i have to say that the end is not toooo far away.


1. Locate the "Saw" room.
The spinning saw should be deactivated because of the 3x3 number riddle.
Look at the statue at the end of the level and remember the order of the medallions.


2. Go back to the "Water Treat" room and open the door with your key.
Fill the pipes with oil and insert the medallions in the right order.
"Something has opened"


3. Go back to the "Saw" room, the Statue has changed and you will find a gear.

4. Locate the "Weight Puzzle" room.
Outrun the clump and enter the room, solve the gear puzzle by using the angles on the paper (mentioned earlier). You can use the one lever for all three gears, just click on it to detach it.
When you spin the gear it should also show a little green light when it is in position.

What do you get by solving this puzzle?

• You can open the cell gates next to the gears.
  
• You will find flesh which you can pick up with the bucket.
  
• You will find a key for the exit door.
  
• You will find the "Sewer Exit Right Cable" code.

The exit room!

Open the exit door and you will see a lot of little rats, you can distract them by throwing the meat out of the bucket. Now go to the right side of the room and you see a big rat eating something.
Go around it and enter the right and the left sewer exit code to open the true exit door on the left of the little rats room.
Have fun and enjoy the alternative ending scene!

THE OLD HOTEL
You will get this achievement by completing the level "Terror Hotel", which can be entered by the end of the sewer level!

THE GRASS CORRIDORS
You escaped from the grass corridors.

To get this achievement you have to complete this level, which will be unlocked after you completed the "Terror Hotel".

LOST INSIDE THE BACKROOMS
You get too deep inside the backrooms.

To get this achievement, you have to pick up a note in the Poolrooms, which is right next to a dead person in a hazmat. The symbols on the note are in a different order every run.










To decipher the symbols you have to go behind the pool door at the end of the large pool.

On the pillars you can see the letters that are written into the symbols.

(Only the host can see the correct note and letters, it could be fixed by now)



Now put the letters in the correct order and enter them into the main PC







The grid has been opened which is also in the room behind the pool.

Jump into it and have fun in the
level ! ("Run For Your Life!").

Tips/Hints:

• Bring a Moth Jelly for every teammate to run constantly.
  
• Jump into the void at the end of the red corridor
  
  Enjoy the alternative ending!
  

FLESH CAKE
Partygoers converted you into a flesh cake :)

How to get there:

To get this achievement you have to finish the "Fun Game" in the 3rd level (The Office).

After you completed the minigame re-enter the party room and a door will open in it, go through it and join the party in the level "Fun".



Level Fun:

Collect the following items in the party complex and bring them to the serving tray:

• 5 arms
  
• 5 feet
  
• 6 eyes
  
• 3 heads
  
• +1 special ingredient:
  (This ingredient is not required by you, you can pick up the key once
  you placed the other ingredients)
  
  Hint:
  If the light goes out, search for a save spot in the corners, Partygoer will roam around.
  Once you got the key, you can open the door (it's a few meters away) to the right side of the serving tray.

You will get the following achievements by selecting the difficulty and then completing the game by going to the hospital ending (main ending).

You will also get one cosmetic for the first completion of every difficulty.

EASY ESCAPE
Complete the game in the "easy" difficulty. (Starting from the lobby and going to the main ending)


BASIC ESCAPE
Complete the game in the "easy" difficulty. (Starting from the lobby and going to the main ending)


HARDCORE ESCAPE
Complete the game in the hardest difficult. (Starting from the lobby and going to the main ending)

BACKROOMS TOP SURVIVOR
Escape from the backrooms without dying. (Starting from Level 0)

Hint:
It is easier to get this achievement with a friend. One can lure the entities (e.g. the Skin Stealer) to a locker by whistling while the other ones solve the puzzles.

You will only get this achievement by the escape ending.

SPEEDRUNNER
Complete the entire game in less than 35 minutes. (Starting from level 0)

Hint:
Again, this achievement is easier with multiple players, thus you can solve the puzzles faster and lure entities away. There are also speedruns on Youtube, which can be looked up.

You only get this achievement by the escape ending.

ENTITY #3 VICTIM
You have been killed by the entity #3 of the backrooms.

Get killed by the Smiler, it hides in the dark parts of level 1 (The Dark Rooms).

ENTITY ## VICTIM
You have been killed by the unknown entity of the backrooms.

Get killed by the Cable Man, it can be found in level 1.
If you see the lights turn red, you should better watch out.

ENTITY #8 VICTIM
You have been killed by the entity #8 of the backrooms.

Get killed by the Hound, it can be found in level 1.
You can hear it as it goes through the ventilation shaft.

ENTITY #10 VICTIM
You have been killed by the entity #10 of the backrooms.

Get killed by the Skin Stealer, it can be found in level 2 (The Parking) and in level 3 (The Office).

ENTITY #67 VICTIM
You has been killed by the entity #67 of the backrooms.

Get killed by the Partygoer, it can be found in level 3 (The Office) after you start the "Fun Game".

You can also find it in the party complex behind the party room after you finished the party minigame.

ENTITY #5 VICTIM
You have been killed by the entity #5 of the backrooms.

Get killed by the Clump, it can be found in level 4 (The Poolrooms) and in level 34 (The Sewerage).

When you select "Host" or "Singleplayer" you can go to the "Modding" section and selected x amount of entities mods. Just enable as many as you need for the following achievements and play the specific level.
You have to download entity mods from the workshop for the achievements.

Information
You will have the opportunity to complete this event until november 10th of 2022.

The candy bags are randomly distributed in each level and have to be collected in one run.

For each player, the candy bag could be in a different place.


Sewerage
The candy bag in the sewerage is always/most often in the beginning room at the shelves.

Poolrooms
The candy bag is always/most often next to the dead person with a note. He lies on the right side of the pool (it can be seen in the screenshot above).

You dont have to finish the game after you got all 5 candies!


After you collected the 5 candy bags you should see an "Event completed" screen.

Christmas Event Information:
The event will be active until January 10th of 2023!
Find the 6 gnomes, take a gift from each one, bring them to the christmas tree and unlock one of a total of four cosmetics.

Locations (2 gnomes in each area):

• Dark Rooms
  
• Parking
  
• Office Rooms

The gnomes are randomly distributed in the levels mentioned. They are invisible and can be recognized by their shadow. Hit them 3 times with the snowball and they will drop one present.











After you collected the 6 presents (alone or with your mate), go back through the checkpoint door in the Office Room to get back to the christmas tree in the Dark Rooms.











Insert the gifts at the christmas tree, open the gifts, collect the orb and you will get one cosmetic.
You don't have to finish the game after receiving the cosmetic.
In order to get all the cosmetics you have to play 4 games and repeat the process!

Anniversary Event Information
The event will be available to play until June 30 2023.

Find all 7 partygoers in the lobby level and pop their balloons by throwing darts to them.

In order to activate the event you have to:

• start from the lobby level
  
• use the ladder to get to the next room
  
• blow the candles of the cake
  
• collect the darts on the table
  
• go through the red door back to the lobby

There will be partygoers with a gift for you, after completing the event you will able to select your gift, but only one gift can be selected per game session, so if you want to unlock all the rewards you will need to complete the event 4 times.
