WELCOME TO S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Combat Medicine!

This mod adds 2 medical items from the STALKER universe that act as combat drugs similar to Go Juice or YAYO.

This mod was funded by Paranautic on my Modding discord[discord.gg].



Medkits
- Medkits deliver medical compounds directly into the user's bloodstream, improving regeneration and reducing blood loss for a short time. They are safe to use.







- Medkits act like a healing stim and can cure injuries and close wounds in a couple of minutes.

- Medkits come in 3 tiers; simple, military and scientific with each tier they will heal more injuries and also be more expensive to craft.

Stimpacks
- Stimpacks deliver medical compounds directly into the user's bloodstream, improving combat capabilities. They have side effects.

- Stimpacks come in 3 tiers; simple, military and scientific with each tier they will provide more buffs and the side effects will be reduced.



- The simple or improvised stim offers minor buffs to the user metabolism reducing bleed, pain, etc as well as improving user performance during combat. Side effects are harsh and include increasing food consumtion rates, tiredness, as well as reduction of overall body sensitivity.



- The military or army stim offers moderate buffs to the user metabolism reducing bleed, pain, improves user performance and increases the user's overall ability with weapons. Side effects are moderate and include increasing food consumtion rates, tiredness, as well as reduction of overall body sensitivity.



- The scientific or science stim offers great buffs to the user metabolism reducing bleed, pain, improves user performance, increases the user's overall ability with weapons and the ability to heal himself and others. Side effects are minor and include increasing food consumtion rates, tiredness, as well as reduction of overall body sensitivity.



- This mod is compatible with Combat Extended. Stims will also decrease suppressibility depending on the tier.

- This mod is recommended to be used with Smart Medicine or similar so the drugs show up on the pawn's hotbar when drafted.

- This mod is recommended to be used with Field Administer or similar you so can administer drugs to downed pawns.



Q: Can the mod be added to existing saves?
A: Yes.

Q: Can the mod be removed from existing saves?
A: Is never a good practice to remove mods from ongoing saves. That said, this mod is quite simple and you should be able to fully remove it if you do it properly.

Hey. I've got an idea that will work great with combat medicine. Since pawns can crawl to hospital beds, it would be logical if colonists could use drugs or meds from their inventory. like conciseness above 20% or something

@Flicko: Same. But sometimes people just have life stuff that comes up, or they lose interest and make a quiet break from the modding scene. It doesn't necessarily mean anything bad has happened to them.

Smart medicine doesn't seem to register stimpack or medkit even when drafted

really odd because I used to use this mod, not even months ago, and it worked fine 1.4

Ok, could just be the game bandaiding itself before it collapses on it's own internal dimensions, but this mod seems to be the one redefining base drug defs, and it stops me from going past the scenario screen.
