Created by Weaver900- New SPV3-Inspired Roguelite Co-Op Firefight mode for Halo 3

I accidentally nuked this description because I suck... I've been really busy lately but will try to restore it soon!

To start this mod please go to the campaign menu, Halo 3, then select Ultimate Firefight Sandtrap :)

Please note the mod WILL NOT show up in the firefight menu, as Halo 3 doesn't have one :)


Credits:
Ultimate Firefight was primarily developed by me, Weaver900, but also contains content created by many other talented modders, modellers, artists and translators. This mod would be nowhere near as fun, accessible or varied without their amazing contributions:

Just want you to know that I love this mod and I hope you continue to improve it. It's probably my favorite way to enjoy the MCC.

In the sandtrap campaign, after the final cutscene, and it goes into overtime, is that just an endless mode for fun?

I don't mind playing as a Brute in Containment, but I wish there was an elite option too.

More selections after wave clears would be nice.. i just keep getting the same wave rewards over and over again never seeing the ones i unlocked hardly at all..

the library section on Containment is great, my issue with it is the flood doorways won't let me through and i have to crouch jump at an angle to get through

Hey Everyone, anyone else having trouble getting the grizzly as a reward vehicle? Was thinking it would be awesome to have one of those secret Easter eggs things for certain vehicles maybe a tank or banshee even.

(Updated 28th August 2024) Firefight of map 2 is great really good and library section was magnificent the only downside with library section is allies sometimes jump in to the pit and dies same with flood, also when alies dies you don't get any back while flood will just continue to spawn until you move to next room

I’ve been playing this mod for a while, and it’s been very addictive and fun with the amount of content available. However, there are a few things that could be improved:

Recently, Hero characters get randomized weapons, which is a nice upgrade since their arsenal was limited before. But the partner Spartan you choose at the start doesn’t get the same treatment and often feels useless. It would be great if they also got randomized weapons or if players could swap with them.

Hero characters respawn outside of vehicles with each new wave, which is frustrating when you have powerful vehicles like Gauss Warthogs or Falcons, only for them to end up abandoned on the map. Keeping heroes inside vehicles between waves would be a huge improvement.

Getting allied NPCs into vehicles like the Falcon is often tricky. Allowing players to assign allies to specific seats via the D-Pad would be helpful.

Despite these issues, the mod is still a lot of fun, and I'm eager for future updates!
