If you have a green menu screen after choosing your profile, use this fix

Make sure to have a keyboard connected OR an compatible controller connected

After choosing your profile...

Wait until you hear the car parking between sections. Then do the following (a sound should happen after every action):

4 DOWN
SELECT
SELECT
2 DOWN
LEFT UNTIL YOU CAN'T GO ANY FURTHER.
GO BACK
ACCEPT CHANGES

This should have fixed it. If you did it wrong close the game and try again.
Cause
This happens when you change the antialising.

For it not to happen in the future, do not change the antialising.

TIP: Alt + Enter to toggle between fullscreen and windowded mode. I prefer this over the video settings, as I can change the screen size to my needs.
