I just love loving games, and it makes me especially happy when something new comes out of nowhere and just blows my mind. This is exactly the case with Showgunners, a new, explosive, brutal and tactical shooter game, that takes place in a 90's action movie-like universe where entertainment is all about violence and carnage. With gameplay mechanics in the style of X-Com, but with supreme visual effects, insanely good sound effects and a damn cool soundtrack, and even some cool characters, Showgunners is definitely my best surprise game of the year so far.
