Keep an eye out for what you get for vaporising vs recycling. Some items will have a higher credit value when recycled directly, things like pdas, laptops and more advanced stuff. some items are also big so its worth vaporising them to save inventory space even though they have a higher return when recycled directly.

You know I never played the original and just started this up a few days ago. I kinda' figured this out by just vaporizing something accidentally that I thought was useless. I then figured out after doing this to a couple things and watching my inventory that it was giving me scrap.

Then I wondered "Hmmm, what I do wif dis stuff?" and then found that lovely, wonderful recycler machine and found out it gives you credits for scrap. Woooooo!

Still though, this is a great little short and sweet guide for those of us not lucky enough to stumble into this like I did.
