You may be wondering; "What is ping masking?? I've never heard of it before!" Well you imaginary person I just made up for this guide, are in the right place!

Ping masking is where A: Someone has 5 ping (impossible UNLESS you live in valves walls)
Or B: Stationary ping
Example of stationary ping: Say someone named "loser" on your team has 14 ping, and it hasnt moved in one minute! He is, you guessed it, PING MASKING :DDDDDDD

You may be asking: "Ok but why should I care?" First, i'm cool that's why u should care, but really Ping masking is used in virtually every cheat in Team Fortress 2. Another way to tell if someone is ping masking is by going to console, and typing 'status' and checking the ping and cross referencing it. If it is at least 20 higher than the persons ping on the scoreboard, he is, you guessed it: PING MASKING :OOO.

There are several different types of Aimbot, but their are 3 main ones in Team Fortress 2
1: Hitscan Aimbot
2: Projectile Aimbot
3: Silent Aimbot

1: Hitscan Aimbot
Hitscan aimbot is basically those sniper bots, super obvious, you can tell right away when someone is cheating like that

2: Projectile Aimbot
Projectile Aimbot is Hitscan Aimbot but for anything projectile, Rockets, Pipes, anything in the projectile catagory. Its very obvious as pipes will fly out of their body where they aren't looking

3: Silent Aimbot
The most common, Its hard to tell, but basically its hitscan aimbot but only gets activated in a certain range, you can spectate them and it will be obvious
