National Read a Book Day

On National Read a Book Day, it’s not compulsory to read a whole book but the day serves as inspiration to people to read a section of a book they particularly enjoyed, to read with children, to donate a book to a children’s school library, or to host a book reading party.

Jaaaaa, Terry Pratchett geht immer. Lese gerade Weiberregiment (Scheibenwelt). Und daneben hör ich die auch die Hörbücher. Alles Sense, Gevatter Tod, Pyramiden etc. Die hab ich aber vor 25 Jahren schon gelesen. Jetzt eben nochmal in Hörbuchform.
Auch sehr empfehlenswert ist die The Expanse Reihe von James Corey.

Timeless, I can of course always recommend "Ralph Waldo Emerson" :)

The last books I have read (and can recommend):

Utopia For Realists by Bregman Rutger

The Nome Trilogy by Terry Pratchett (but I cheated a bit: "read" as an audio book)

Home, Siege Home: A LitRPG/GameLit Novel (The Good Guys Book 6) by Eric Ugland

Had to say, the last couple of books I've read I despised. Vatta's War by Elizabeth Moon and David Weber's Honor Harrington, both cringe and in the trash. Also an awful postmodern deconstruction of Alexander the Great which I couldn't finish. At the end of these I had to wash my mouth out with a great novel, the original Dune. ;) :Dune:
