Description

It is rare indeed that my chest swells and I get close to tears in a strategy game, but by Jehova if this wasn't such a game. As I mustered all I could in the defence of Constantinople, the Ottomans marched on, cannons at the ready. The people cried for salvation, as Italian mercenaries came to my rescue.

The Queen of Cities' fate hangs in the balance in every EU4 campaign, but I've never experienced a war quite as epic and high stakes as this, and it's all possible thanks to the innovations and updates brought to Europa Universalis 4 by King of Kings, the game's latest DLC. This is my review of King of Kings as it relates to Byzantium.

Europa Universalis 4 is better than ever 10 whole years after release, and it's amazing to see that the current state of the game probably makes it my favorite strategy game of all time.
