This guide was obviously only created as a joke/ for points. Not as an actual aid to new players. We have many proper guides for that.

Telling someone they need to be X level is setting them up for failure in this game imo when builds and strategy is infinitely more important. Again, you can clear areas of the map far, far above the recommended levels you list with just a nugget of experience. It's why I list one of the many methods. Building around multi projectile aoe spells is very effective and renders the level argument moot. It's not the only way, I just don't care to make an essay on it here.

Arx at the very least needs to be changed to just level 20 everywhere since that's the soft limit anyways.

@Lucifer69 This "Guide" was created 1) For fun (steam points) 2) for regular players, not some experts with meta builds. Who said that level is more important than build? it's quite obvious that you can beat any enemy in the game with powerful combos. The only purpose of this "guide" is to help new player to find out in what order it would be easire to explore locations, especially in act 2, there are so many ways to go with no indication, and you can easily stumble upon 14+ lvl enemies being lvl 11, and if your build is not some imba meta created by guides, with mass corpse explosion and warps, it would be hard to beat. This "guide" is for beginners, playing for the first time.

I feel like the author of this "guide" is slightly out of tough with reality. Builds are more important than levels and by the time you get to Arx level is completely irrelevant. It's all about understanding the mechanics imo. Not to mention in Arx there is no lvl 21+ enemies.

For example, "shotgun" spells. Pyroclastic Eruption (Dust Blast for lvl 9~15), Mass Corpse Explosion (if you can't find corpses, your party members will do lmao), Thunderstorm and Blood Storm. One shot is fired for each target. All of them with an area of effect, and so if you teleport your enemies so that they clump up, it'll hit every one with multiple times the damage it would against lone targets. As an example of how OP that is, I one shot the lvl 15 Voidwoken Harbinger East of Driftwood at lvl 10, and the 2500 health Kraken at lvl 18, with 5 corpses each.

I'm pretty sure the last map should be titled "Arx" or "The City of Arx" instead of what you've used. But otherwise, this is good info. Thanks.

I did Wrecker's caves as a lv 10 wearing a mix of epics from Fort Joy and random lv9-10 finds. Resolving the main quests brought me to lv11, but now I'm struggling. I did some graveyard fights and quests, and I'm close to lv12, but most encounters I see now are 12+, and most quests I've got are labeled in wiki as recommended 13+. It's a good game, but their stupid random itemization and crazy lv layout is killing me(literally).

How are you underleveled?

The recommended level in act 4 is overinflated. There is not a single lvl 21 enemy, to say nothing of lvl 22.

At that point having a good build matters more than a few levels, so if it feels like the fights are hard at lvl 20, it's not because you're underleveled, it's because your build is inefficient.
