Actually, this matter is very important. Soooo, I recommend focusing on that first thing.
At least help open the waypoint and makes game play a lot convenient.
It also helps to earn heritage points and increase your town rank as well.

The more offerings you send, the more items you'll unlock.

1st : Crop Altar

You can get almost all altar except cactus rare, fruit silver rare (spring fruit) and if you don't have luck like me gem altar in year 1... but this guide help alot :)

It looks like the image for the 3rd Advance Altar is broken.

Can't see the advanced cooknig ones.
