Description

The Witcher 3 has so many amazing quests and experiences to dive into, but one questline in particular continues to stand out for me - Broken Flowers. It's been almost a decade since The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt released (I know, right?), and yet, I feel the exact same way every time I arrive in Novigrad to play it. Because so much of the Witcher 3's starting region of Velen (not counting White Orchard) can be so dreary and depressing, it makes it all the better when we finally reach the city of Novigrad and our old friend Zoltan.

Broken Flowers is so different because it slows the game down after hours of fighting, it lets the player breath while simultaneously serving as an introduction to Novigrad and its characters, and ends in one of the game's most memorable scenes - but that doesn't mean that you remember the quest itself, or why it's so good.
