Layer 1: to the Credits
The first layer is reaching the credits. It involves seeing most of game rooms. If you have not reached the credits yet, then this section may help you with a reminder that the game should be within your reach to solve on your own.
Layer 1, Part 1: Tutorial
The tutorial should be easy enough, the first destination is to reach the main well area.

 • a telephone is a save slot
 • cranks need to be turned and let go
 • ghosts can be scared away by firecrackers
 • the map is an instrumental tool

You do want to visit the egg room first, it gives you the stamp, which allows you to mark things on your map, which is handy for a large part of the forthcoming layers.

Achievements

Secret Egg: Find a secret egg.

Explorer: Find the map
Layer 1, Part 2: Bubble Trouble
The game has no explicit directionality, but certain items are easily reachable and most advantageous. Make your way towards the left, the path itself should be straight forward, there's a bit to explore.

Lesson learned
 • the dish-reflection puzzle, it will come up later
 • Falling into water resets you, does not cause you to take damage
 • Bubbles float and can be jumped on
 • Bubbles float upwards but standing on them drags you down
 • Ventilators push bubbles up, even when you're standing on them
 • running into spikes causes you to take damage
 • There is one additional movement mechanic that you can already learn, it is not required yet. It has to do with the wand. It's timing based. Recall how many bubbles the wand can spawn. It is possible to chain bubbles. You can effectively fly horizontal and vertical as long as there's enough horizontal space.
 • There's a not-so-obvious mechanic with the bubble wand to be found. It can be found in the telephone room. It has to do with the fish head. It takes bubbles, but that's not all. Try entering it.

Obtainable achievements

Find 8 secret eggs.

Find 16 secret eggs.
Layer 1, Part 3: Humans best friendo
The next important tool is the obtaining the disk.

You will not have to anger the ghost, you do not have to be goose chased and subsequently killed. For that you need to route yourself through the left area of the disk.

With the bubble wand in hand some sections may be much easier, if you know already a trick prior mentioned. If not, routing this area should be reasonable in difficulty.

Swapping out the mock disk for the disk leaves you with no chasing ghost, the disk in hand. Toy with it and observe how it behaves.

Lessons learned
 • Switches affect the state of barriers. There's another important lesson that may not be clear yet and is irrelevant for now. The following spoilers explain it, but it will come up later anyway. Observe what happens if you leave switches toggled. Observe how the switches behave in adjacent rooms. Switch state is permanent.
 • Doors sometimes require multiple switches.
 • Doors are permanently opened.
 • The disk bounces.
 • The disk gets interrupted by vines.
 • The disk has an additional movement mechanic. It is tied to an achievement. Just like the disk, it's about horizontal movement. It should be easily discoverable if you let it bounce between two walls Final warning: Jump on the disk.
 • There is even another movement mechanic with the disk if you have figured out the former. When does the disk return into your inventory? What happens if the disk flies off screen What happens if you sit on the disk while it flies off screen?
Layer 1, Intermezzo: Fast Travel
By now you should may have collected at least 8 secret eggs. This will unlock a new room inside the egg room that we've been curiously avoiding until now.

With the flute in hand, there's a room you can reach. Play a single note and you will end up in a room between worlds.

In there you can play the flute again and it may open a few animal heads that you already have reached.

Before you leave, go down.

Here awaits you another puzzle. It can be solved, you will need your flute.

Follow the instructions of the fish. Play the direction of the flute.

The notes are: ➡️➡️⬅️⬅️⬇️⬇️⬆️⬆️
Layer 1, Part 4: Down the Caves
Let's get the third tool.

Marked are two locations you do not want to miss.

 • the Yoyo is a versatile tool reaching otherwise impossible buttons
 • the Yoyo destroys spikes
 • the Yoyo seems strangely irresistable
 • Doves are useful platforms
 • Mice hurt
 • there are shortcuts
 • the Ostrich is no friend
Layer 1, Part 5: Up the jungle
And finally, for the last tool for now:

Lessons learned
 • the Slinky keeps buttons pressed as long as it stays
 • the Slinky drops down ledges
 • some buttons require to be pressed at the same time
 • Hedgehogs always move along all connected walls
 • Crows don't like getting their buttons triggered
 • Ectoplasm spreads in the world
Layer 1, Part 6: Flames
You do have now all tools you require to find all flames that are already marked on your map.

It is now time to act without a map, here are good hints for all flames:

Blue Flame
Blue Flame is the continuation of where you found the bubble wand. It can be reached by dropping down the ledge found by the fish teleport. In conjunction with the bubble wand it is possible to throw the disk just so, that the switch flips for you to reach the the remaining area.

Violet Flame
Following after that is the violet flame could possibly be found while looking for the slinky. The mechanic is to defeat the chameleon by letting it eat hedgehogs instead of you. If you have trouble, just stay in front of the hedgehogs.

Green Flame
The green flame can be acquired from the beginning of the bear head warp to the bottom left. There's an entire dungeon worth of exploring and secrets, that ultimately ends in defeating the Ostrich in a wheel. If you find yourself stuck remember the yoyo, it can change the direction of the mice in the wheels

Purple Flame
This one is one that sticks out. It requires angering the dog ghost again, by taking out the mock disk and bringing it to the altar. There are a multitude of routes, recommended is to teleport via the Bear Head shortcut and then make your way through. I can understand your frustrations, I've been there. You can dry-run this a few times before to get the hang of the individual movements you have to pull off.
Hard Spoiler Warning
From here out on, the guide will be way less careful about spoiler messages. If you still feel like you have loose threads you want to solve for yourself, please do not continue further until you feel stuck.

If you want to read the comments, use the side bar to jump to the comments, otherwise you will scroll by a lot of spoilers.

Layer 2: Egghunt & Candles
This is a much more harder endeavor, but there are certain tools you can acquire helping you along the way to find most hidden eggs as well as finding the remaining items and candles.

Layer 2, Part 1: Candle Light
You can open the image in a new tab or click on it for a larger preview.

Candles
The candles are mostly obvious in location.

C1
Easiest with remote, but toggle the switches, the candle it at the bottom left of the room.

C2
Prepare yourself for a minor jumpscare.

C3
Central of the room, may need one toggle.

C4
This is hidden in dark caverns, I think a ghost is spawning there. Use firecrackers or lanterns to create enough light to see where you're going.

C5
The candle can be reached from below, beware that hidden penguins will jump at you.

C6
Inside the maze where you let the disk toggle the buttons for you.

C7
Tutorial Candle!

C8
Dark caverns, some light platforming to reach the candle. Easier with lantern or firecrackers.

C9
Near the ostrich statue.

Matches
Most matches you should find naturally, however some are a bit more hidden.

M1
From the tutorial telephone, cross to the right. The chest is hidden in the ceiling.

M2
You should've passed this chest when going to the bubble wand.

M3
This you may have passed, it can be found by boucing the disk between the two toggles and moving in the the small maze.

M4
One room above the entry of the egg room, you can reach the toggle inside with either the disk or the bubble wand to reveal the chest.

M5
This one you should've gotten naturally, it's where the blowout section is.

M6
From the elevator shaft near where the disk shrine is, there's a chest to the right side, reached by a ladder.

M7
Where the two guy are standing guard, there's a hidden recess on the top left of the room. This gives entry to chest.

M8
From the Bear Head Shortcut you can move upwards, reach the button and get to the chest.

M9
From the beginning of ghost mice, you can enter the room with the yoyo one room right of it by destroying the spikes on the floor.

Achievement: Candle Bright - Light all candles.

You can now return where the game started (or through the Gerbil Head Shortcut) to open a new passageway left of where the game started
Layer 2, Part 2: Getting all Items
Near the end of most egg hunt you will need certain items that you will not have by the end of the first layer.

Firecrackers
You will obtain the firecrackers early and use them often.
 • light up rooms
 • scare away various ghosts

Bubble Wand
 • functions as a kind of double jump
 • allows you to fly
 • Colibris destroy bubbles

Disc
Received as part of the dog area on the top right of the map.
 • can toggle and activate buttons
 • can be used for horizontal travel
 • distracts dogs

Animal Flute
Received next to the egg room once you have collected 8 eggs.
 • used for teleporting
 • used in all kinds of musical puzzles

Yoyo
Obtained on the bottom right of the map.
 • can trigger buttons and switches
 • destroys spikes
 • flips animals in wheels
 • lures Chinchillas

Slink
Obtained on the top right area of the map.
 • can activate buttons
 • travels down edges

Spinning Top
Obtained by collecting 32 secret eggs.
 • excavates mud
 • triggers switches and buttons
 • passes by a single downward recess
 • destroys spikes and other destructible environment

Lantern
Obtained by finishing the game, before going down the deep-end.
 • disables interactions with spirits or ghosts
 • allows free passage through doves
 • ignores mice ghosts
 • lights up dark areas
 • pushes away purple ghost matter

Remote
Once you defeated the chameleon, you can acquire the S. Medal. It fits into a circular recess that you may have seen by now and opens a passage that allows you to reach the remote.
 • toggles the global switch state in rooms with a remote tower
 • it eases a lot late game hurdles that are difficult to pass with just toggle switches.

 • the ball activates a breakout mode once it collides with colorful rectangular blocks
 • the ball breaks destructible environment

Wheel
The wheel is required for a few puzzles to find all eggs. It can be acquired once you have the spinning top. You need to free the caged cats, which you can do so by playing the correct five notes for each cage.

Reveal the songs with the flute (or lantern) to make enough light.
 1. L1: Reached by bubble flying where you receive the flame.
 2. L2: Jump near the fish-tube on top of the platform, use the spinny top to reveal the location.
 3. L3: More bubble flying to reach above the blowout location.
 4. L4: Reveals itself after drowning the ostrich. Rest in pepperonis.
 5. L5: Reached by dropping down with the yoyo on top of the contraption. Is a hidden pathway in the wall on the bottom left of the screen.
Go to the circular areas, play one of the five songs and on the flute and rescue the cats.
Reveal the bobcat room through the spinning top one room above the telephone. The bobcat will sing a song to unlock the cage, which grants you the wheel.

 • allows you to move on spikes
 • destroys destructible terrain
 • is generally faster than moving, but managing it makes it probably a poor choice for fast travel anyway

UV Wand

You receive the Eel Medal once you've unlocked all candles. The recess for the eel medal is found next to where the game started. Then you need to go back where you found one of the flames with the seahorse. There's a hidden passage behind the fish-tube that you can get past. Down there you will find a telephone hidden behind what the spinning top can clear and then you go down.
If you're stuck, play the notes in the direction of what the skeleton fish blows air bubbles towards.
 • The UV wand is not purely cosmetic
 • It reveals multiple murals and hidden messages
 • to find the Kangaroo locations, you can need the UV wand

Bouncy Ball
The bouncy ball is difficult to track down and becomes more manageable with the UV wand, which will reveal locations the kangaroo spawns.
Once you reach a room, wait a few seconds and it may jump out. You will need to scare away the Kangaroo three times with firecrackers. It appears randomly in one of five locations and then moves on. Every time you scare it with a firecracker, it drops a third of a K-Medal.
Once all pieces are collected, they fit in the Kangaroo Room into a recess, that opens up a passage to reach the bouncy ball. It is required to reach multiple locations for remaining eggs.

The spawning locations of the Kangaroo.

Place the medal in the marked room next.
Layer 2, Part 3: Finding all eggs
It has been noticed that the row of the egg rack roughly corresponds to the location of the of the eggs in the game world by height. That means if you have a row of racks completed, the game hints you towards the remaining locations.

Identifying missing eggs - copy the image, cross out the eggs you have found (or note the down otherwise).

Egg Identification

Egg Location Map
You can right-click the image and open it in full size on a new tab.
Layer 2, Part 3, Row 1: Eggsactly
C1: Reference Egg
Warp to the Bear Head, go one screen up, two to the left. The puzzle needs to be completed with a Slink and a Disc.

D1: Brown Egg
Warp to the Bear Head, go one screen up, one to the left. Place the slink on the moving cube on the left, such as it touches the ground to the right. Jump on the button on the bottom left.

E1: Raw Egg
Throw the slink from the top, move quickly through it, very time dependent.

F1: Pickled Egg
Toss yourself down the well at the ending of the game, hug the wall to the right, use the bubble wand for easy access.

G1: Big Egg
You need to reveal the elevators wheel driver, which is found at the bottom of the elevator next to the well, reverse direction and travel upwards.

H1: Swan Egg
The chest is hidden along the struts left of where the Colibri sits. Play the flute or use firecrackers to awake a Chinchilla, use a yoyo to manipulate them in place to reach the egg.

i1: Forbidden Egg
Go to the telephone, toss the disk against the wall, sit on it. That's it!

J1: Shadow Egg
With the lantern this is trivial, with only the slinky throw it and it lifts the platforms up.

K1: Vanity Egg
Next to i1 you can pass the obstacle, go down, use the bouncy ball to reveal a chest. This is right behind the Kangaroo room.

L1: Egg As A Service
Behind the bat, in the room with the Kangaroo statue is a hidden recess on the bottom right.
Layer 2, Part 3, Row 2: Egg x Egg
B2: Depraved Egg
Use the Disk (or Remote) to toggle the barriers to pass them in order of: up, left, right, up, right, down, right, down.

C2: Chaos Egg
Found repeatedly, no puzzle. It's by the monkeys throwing stones at you.

D2: Upside Down Egg
Solved with the remote in the candle room. Toggle the barriers to go to the bottom right.
I need you to remember that it is upside down. We will come backlater to this.

E2: Evil Egg
Play the flute to get some turtles floating. Chest appears on one of them.

F2: Sweet Egg
On the curve puzzle, enter the fish head - it spawns you right next to the chest.

G2: Chocolate Egg
Done with the remote and the disk, go to the elevator room on the right side to the chest, use the remote to toggle the barrier, jump on the disk, use the remote again.
Alternatively reached from the well with a bubble floating down and toggling the world state to have this barrier open.

H2: Value Egg
On the hedgehog in the 3x3 grid, use the bubble wand (or disk) to reach on top of it. Solve the hedehog puzzle by either manipulating the hedgehog in the correct moments to fall down or use a firecracker to distact the Colibri and use the bubble wand to float to the buttons.

i2: Plant Egg
With the Slinky and the disk: Throw the slinky, time the jump on the disk just right to get past the first and second floating barrier stone. Bit of luck, a bit annoying.

J2: Red Egg
Throw the disk between the chin-chilla, they get pushed away. Otherwise possible with throwing a fire cracker.

K2: Orange Egg
Spinning Top required to excavate the chest, right or left next to the telephone.

L2: Sour Egg
Distract the dachshund, move through the maze, entering from the left side and exit on the right side. The dog will not chase you beyond the room.

M2: Post Modern Egg
Press the button on the other side of the well, then use the spinning top to excavate the chest.
Layer 2, Part 3, Row 3: Eggsercise Patience
A3: Universal Basic Egg
Use the Chinchilla and the Yoyo to pass the spikes. Alternatively use the wheel.

B3: Laissez-Faire Egg
Reached from the candle room (otherwise dark cave), use a firecracker to scare the chinchilla onto the button.

C3: Zen Egg
Manipulate the Chinchilla to drop down and stay on the platform, keep the platform to the chest locked with a Slinky, now jump up where the chest was.

D3: Future Egg
Manipulate the chinchilla to drop onto the lower platform, then drop it onto the button - exit the room to the right, that's where the chest is.

E3: Friendship Egg
You reach the room from the telephone of the fish-pipe, near the fish shortcut head. Exit the fish-pipe on the most right position on the secondary room. This can be done by standing on the lower pipe, spawn a bubble on the tube such that the lower tube does not pull bubbles, then float over. In the very dark room, next to the pipe it dropped you from, is the chest hidden behind the vines. Visible with the lantern or the remote to ping it.

F3: Truth Egg
In the main hall, go up right before entering the jungle biome, use the disk to throw it against the wall on the right, jump on it to move one room to the left and follow the corridor.

G3: Transcendental Egg
A bit hidden, use the bubble wand to jump into the recess.

H3: Ancient Egg
In a recess where you initially got your bubble wand. The room where it teaches you that standing on the bubbles pushes you upwards, you can bubble flying to reach it. It's a recess in the middle pillar from the ceiling.

i3: Magic Egg
Reach the room from the fish-tube near the fish head teleport. Activate the buttons, it's mostly a trial and error solution.

J3: Mystic Egg
Where the fishes spawn the bubbles, go up behind the vines to enter a room to the left. The puzzle is straight forward.

K3: Holiday Egg
Use the bubble wand to float downwards from the egg-room and jump to the left. Hard to spot, it's right next to the pillar next to the lantern in the center of the screen.

L3: Rain Egg
You need the spinning top excavate the chest. It is right next to the egg room entrance.

M3: Razzle Egg
After defeating the chameleon, the chameleon disguised initially as statue is gone, you can now access that region.

N3: Dazzle Egg
Either enter with a bubble jump from the bottom left or by floating downwards from the top-right. The chest is hidden behind vines on the top left. Use the bubble wand to fly there.
Layer 2, Part 3, Row 4: One Eggstra
A4: Virtual Egg
It can be reached by either using the remote or the disk to toggle the switch to open a passage on the top-left with the many platform.

B4: Normal Egg
The chest is a hidden entrance between the two fish-rooms. Drop onto the platform, jump into the ornamental wall

C4: Great Egg
Enter the room on the bubble fishes to the right.
Hard mode: Use the bubble wand to jump precisely where the storks live.
Easy mode: Use the disk on the fish room to skip the section entirely.

D4: Gorgeous Egg
In the tutorial section with the candle, jump on the candle box and then into the vines a bit to the right.

E4: Planet Egg
One room to the right, destroy all the spikes on the floor. The opening is on the bottom left.

F4: Moon Egg
Requires the lantern. Find this egg by the two mice ghost walls on the bottom right. Use the disk to jump on it to reach into the room. Then use the lantern to walk up to the chest.

G4: Galaxy Egg
Right next to the Fish Head Teleport, use the remote to toggle the left wall, stand next to it, toggle it again - this opens a small recess to the bottom.

H4: Sunset Egg
Use the yoyo on the room above to clean all the spikes. In the center of the room opens up a tiny passage.

i4: Goodnight Egg
Where the ghost is (or used to be, if you lit the candle) is a passage that you can open with the yoyo.

J4: Dream Egg
One room above where the mouse ghost is moving horizontal, you can enter the area with the toggle by platforming into it. Flipping the switch reveals the entry to the bottom.

K4: Travel Egg
Requires a key, open the door behind the groundhog next to the telephone.

L4: Promise Egg
In the room with the three dove spirits, clean out the spikes with the yoyo, flip the switch such that you can jump through the top and block the dove getting to you. A slim passage reveals itself on the bottom right.
Alternatively use the lantern to pass the dove.

M4: Ice Egg
When receiving the remote, you can toggle the barriers to reach the chest a room before it.

N4: Fire Egg
Use the disk to jump on it and close the gap. Alternatively use the bubble wand to float to the chest.
Layer 2, Part 3, Row 5: Eggheaded Solutions
A5: Bubble Egg
Where the ghost mouse is chasing you, use the bubble wand to jump top-right into a small cave.

B5: Desert Egg
You should have this egg, it's where the region with the caged cats are on the upper floor, near where you can control the mouse with the yoyo to change the elevator direction up or down.

C5: Clover Egg
Right next to where the game starts and all the lit candles are shown.

D5: Brick Egg
You will need the wheel. Reach the three buttons with some puzzling. For the bottom button you will need the disk bounding between two boxes.

E5: Neon Egg
After you get the Bouncy Ball, reveal a room to the left. Clear more bricks until you reach the breakout game. Play the breakout game to drop the chest. With the remote you can close off the play area.

F5: Iridescent Egg
In the room with the snake, remote control it to eat all fruits, then use the snake to push you towards the top left.

G5: Rust Egg
You can reach the chest by the very dark area one screen below, then move left and up. It's trivial to pass the dove spirits with the lantern.

H5: Scarlet Egg
In the bobcat room, use the wheel to reach a location on the bottom left. Teaches you how to use the wheel.

i5: Sapphire Egg
Requires you to have the lantern, pass the doves to drop down below.

J5: Ruby Egg
The chest is on a platform in the center of the room.

K5: Jade Egg
Reach the room with the graph, tiddle with the three levers until all three light up.

L5: Obsidian Egg
In the wheel area, use a disk to bounce between two mice platforms. You can do this by using a lilypad next to the platform. The platforms need to move to the left. Jump on the disk and move past the fish tube.

M5: Crystal Egg
You need the lantern, the bouncy ball, the spinning top and the wheel.
The button on the left room is hidden under a the trap door that can be revealed with the spinny top.
The other two buttons are on the right, move the blocks to be level, throw the spinny top and it reveals a passage.
Move the blocks to the water level and reveal a hidden passage below the wheel recess.

N5: Golden Egg
Where the ostrich wheel was jump into the wall to reveal the blocked chest.
Next to the wheel recess, move into the wall to the right to reveal the button passage.
Use the wheel recess to move a stone block as platform for the middle, push one button with the Slinky and one with yourself.
Layer 2, Part 4: Omlette
With all eggs collected, there's two more secrets to be uncovered in the Egg Room. First, which you already may have seen, is that the box the flute is found, contains some information, mapping directionalities of the flute to numbers. Since you already have the UV wand, try it. If you're unsure what it's for, try the UV wand in various places. Observe thoroughly what you're seeing.
 • One: Upper Bar
 • Two: Middle Bar
 • Three: Bottom Bar
(bottom text serves as anchor for your mouse)

Back to the Egg Room we may uncover the last piece of the puzzle: the UV wand shows that all eggs are marked. The markings are in binary. Which translates to numbers.
(bottom text serves as anchor for your mouse)
I should now be able to translate that from here.

Recall the rules:
 • The Markings are in binary, adding the lit up bars with the numbers on the room with the chinchilla gives you a score
 • The Numbers indicate the d-pad direction
 • One Egg is unlike the others: the upside down egg needs to be read upside down

If you have trouble decoding or not the patience, here's the answer: (anchor for your mouse)
(anchor for your mouse)

If you still have trouble, here is the full answer for the egg room song:
↖️⬇️➡️⬇️ ↖️⬇️➡️⬇️ ↖️↙️↘️↙️ ↖️↙️↘️↙️ ↗️⬅️⬇️⬅️ ↗️⬅️⬇️⬅️ ⬆️⬅️↘️⬅️ ⬆️⬅️↘️⬅️ ↖️⬇️➡️⬇️ ↖️⬇️➡️⬇️ ↖️↙️↘️↙️ ↖️↙️↘️↙️ ↖️↗️↖️↙️ ↗️⬆️⬅️⬇️ ⬆️↖️↙️⬅️ ⬆️↖️⬅️↖️
Layer 3, Part 1: Ending Again
Ok, with all the eggs out of the way, the final and last door opens. You get the 65th egg.

This egg stays with you and needs to be hatched. You may have found by accident the incubator room and you may already have broken the glass at the location marked with 1. If you did, use the spinning top, clear out the dirt, move the manticore block such that it doesn't block anymore and then go to the incubator room. Spawn the manticore, move to the right, break the glass, move through and play the flute.
Enter the manticore. This is the second ending!

But wait, there is more! Move up. When you hit your head, move right. I trust your intuition.

Layer 3, Part 2: What do 'dem Bunnies mean?
There are 16 hidden bunnies across the game, you can reach them as early as the first room. They are mostly findable by your own merits, however, at least the bunny mural is impossible to get on your own. The game features 32 bunnies in the game, where 16 are bait for cheaters and data miners to lock you out of the remaining progression.

All bunnies have been identified, solved and are required to enter the next layer. Forthcoming all bunny solutions will be in spoilers, with the exception of the mural. The mural is not solvable on your own.

The title indicates difficulty from ⭐ (you can find it on your own) to ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (near impossible).

Bunny #1: Mural ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The mural has been solved by a community effort where each has gotten one of fifty different pieces.
If you want to puzzle the mural together for yourself, there's a tool with all tiles that individual members have found that you can puzzle together for yourself: Bunny Mural Helper[philippgitpush.github.io]
Once they've been completely assembled they can be used in a control panel that reveals itself in the mural room when activating the remote.
Tip: Clear out the canvas with black pixels, then add them slowly, helps you keep track where you have been.

Once done, a door opens on the bottom right.
(anchor for your mouse)

Bunny #2: Vines ⭐⭐⭐
The room in particular is found through the Bear Head Shortcut:
The solution is spelled out on the screen. Yes, it has to do with the chinchilla. No, you do not have to move the chinchilla. It's very rough on the eyes. You can help it by dragging around the window in windowed mode. I'm not kidding, do this:
Here comes the solution: ➡️ ↗️ ➡️ ⬇️ ➡️ ↙️ ↙️ ➡️

Bunny #3
does not exist, skip

Bunny #4: Tutorial Bunny ⭐
The entrance is near the storks. Specifically the chest behind the storks. There is a hidden recess on the top right end. Enter that, do the spike challenge with the bubble wand. Done!

Bunny #5: Map Numbers ⭐⭐⭐
There are statues on the map with symbols attached to them. The first one can be found in the egg room. It looks like this:
Connect the dots. The symbols matter. Really, connect the dots on the map. They spell out numbers. The egg room with the Chinchillas has the number meaning. Here comes the solution: ↖️ ⬆️ ↘️ ⬇️ ↙️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ⬇️

Bunny #6
does not exist, skip

Bunny #7: Ultraviolet Bunny ⭐⭐⭐
Go to the well room where the flames are placed, wait until you see some sparkles, activate the UV light and chase the rabbit towards the egg room.

Bunny #8: Fish Mural ⭐
The room in question is on the left side of the well, in the direction of the Bubble Wand. The background is tiled with triangular shapes showing a fish. This requires you to use the UV wand. You want to stand in the center. It contains 9 notes. You read it left to right, top to bottom. Here comes the answer: ⬅️ ⬅️ ↘️ ➡️ ↗️ ⬅️ ⬅️ ↗️
Layer 3, Part 2: Remaining Bunnies
Bunny #9: Candleless Ghost ⭐⭐
There is one specific ghost that never gets banished by a candle. It is found near the beginning, the first time you encounter a ghost.
You can banish it through other means than a firecracker. Yes, with the flute.Play the flute clockwise.

Bunny #10: Crows Crows Crows ⭐
In the jungle biome are a bunch of crows. There's a specific room with 8 crows arranged in a three by three grid.

You can find the room through the bear head shortcut:

Observe the crows. They sing a song, repeat the directions on the flute. No solution, it's different for everyone.

Bunny #11: Duck Duck Rabbit? ⭐
You will likely already seen a certain mural relating to a duck. And you will already have passed a very noisy duck. Here you will need, again, the code wheel to decipher the duck mural. Here comes the solution: ⬆️ ⬇️ ⬆️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ➡️ ⬅️ ➡️

Bunny #12: Dreamer ⭐
You can get this as soon as the game starts. Stay idle in the game for some time. Once you're sleeping well enough, you enter a dreaming phase. Just wait until the bunny appears in the dream, then touch it.

Bunny #13: Spawn Rabbit ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is one of the more complicated rabbits. There's the following mural to hint you towards it:
It wants you to observe the directions of sparkles when you spawn the first time inside the bulb. It needs to be on all three game saves. You can copy your current save file to another slot and start anew. To figure out the order, observe the three bulbs shape. Then write down in which direction the sparkles fly. Now order the sparkles in the order of the mural. Play it as the flute song. Here comes the solution: ➡️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ⬆️ ➡️ ⬇️ ↖️ ↗️ ➡️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ⬆️ ↘️ ↙️ ↖️ ↗️

Bunny #14: The super hard jumping puzzle ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This one is pretty tough, if you're not fully loaded with gamer juice, you will need a lot of patience. This is the solution for the room with the three dogs. Let's recall one rule: When you drop somewhere into water, you're respawned at the last location you stood on.The world state is mostly global. The room you want to access is always blocked one way or another. Ok, you need to make it to a room with a remote receiver, then fall to respawn where you started. Open the first barrier, throw the spinning disk to the three dogs. Move yourself towards the next left room with the bubble wand. Then up. Use the remote through opening the inventory while sitting on a bubble high enough, flip the global state, then move to the right and toss yourself into the poison. You will be respawned behind the now closed barrier with the bunny free to access.
Alternative method:

Bunny #15
does not exist, skip

Bunny #16: TV Rabbit ⭐
Reaching the credits rooms has a TV that is being used to spawn a bunny. You require the remote. Note down the faces. Close by is the directionality of the faces. It is a recess before you fall down to the fireworks. Toggling the remote shows you faces, those correspond to directions of the faces for the flute. If you just want the answer:

The next spoiler contains the solution

Bunny #17: Double Bunny ⭐⭐
This bunny has two solutions, both ways result in the same answer. If you have a PC attached with a printer, read below. Otherwise the bunny can also be found by observing a specific ghost statue. It is a specific bowl with grass. It can be found from the Bear Warp one screen down, one screen right, the grassy bowl. The bowl is a bardcode. The barcode value results in dpad directions from the egg roomHere comes the answer: ➡️ ↗️ ⬆️ ⬅️ ↖️ ⬆️ ⬅️ ⬇️
If you finish the game on PC you may get a printer save prompt or even a print out with an origami bunny. Print and assemble the bunny. It gives instruction to use the flute, which will spawn the bunny. If you do not have a printer and just want the answer: ➡️ ↗️ ⬆️ ⬅️ ↖️ ⬆️ ⬅️ ⬇️

Bunny #18: Ghost Dog Statue ⭐⭐
There's a random dog statue in the jungle. Recall what happened to the other statues. 'das rite, you need to lead the ghost to the statue. You can still remove the disk from the altar - do a Brown Bear Shortcut and move quickly to the statue:

Bunny #19
does not exist, skip

Bunny #20: Wheel Spikes ⭐⭐
This bunny can be reached by passing the water from the Bear Head Shortcut. First skip over to the water, then go back, but while sitting on the disk as high as possible. In the center of the pure water there's some vines. The rest is some skillful use of the wheel.
Layer 3, Part 2: Bunny Numerology
With the second ending in place and access to the bunny island, we can now discuss which bunnies are missing for you. The island makes it look like you're missing some bunnies, but there are multiple indicators that the bunny limit is 16. So not every statue has a bunny, but we get a handy tool to identify which bunnies are missing.

(click on the image, open it in a new tab - red bunnies do not exists)

Some reasons why there are only 16 bunnies:
 • the variable counting the bunnies only can hold a maximum number of 16
 • these bunnies are required for BDTP and form the full instructions
 • there is a found bunny that somewhat makes the game go bonkers that can be achieved by the means of using cheat engine
Layer 4, Part 1: BDTM
BDTM refers to the solution of the office.
You're required to
 • have 16 bunnies on the manticore platform
 • opened the office with the office key by playing the egg song
 • reached the manticore / bunny platform (the second ending
You can check the bunnies on the platform.

The BDTM features instructions to find map traversal directions.

From there you have to observe the bunny ears when they idle, giving instructions how to traverse screens. The animation gives two pieces of information: first the index of the instructions, second the two directions in order. You can embark with the manticore from the red flag as the starting point, then transition each screen in the following directions:
Up - Left - Up - Left Up - Right - Up - Up Left - Down - Left - Up Up - Up - Right - Right Down - Right - Up - Up Up - Left - Down - Left Up - Left - Up - Right Right - Right - Up - Left
You will see a lot of empty screens, this is expected. If you have done it correctly, you reach a new platform. If you cannot reach the platform, then you may be lacking any of the bunnies.
This gives your character a set of wings, which let you fly freely around. From here, there's the (possibly?) final mystery to be solved.
Layer 4, Part 2: A farewell?
Once you have been swallowed by the bunny, double jump.

Through sheer headbutting and community effort, a solution for the (most likely) final puzzle has been found.

It has been noted that there are creatures in the well that blerb out random characters on screen. Every instance of that happening has been found, except for one. All that combines them is to annoy the creatures in the well - those actions are:
 1. Kangaroo: Trap the Kangaroo in a hole and toss firecrackers at it
 2. Speedrun Reaching the clock in space in under 60 minutes
 3. Squirrel: Creep up to 5 squirrels and get 'dem nuts
 4. Bobcat: Unlock the wheel without the Bobcat - play the Bobcat song in its entirety without freeing cats
 5. Chameleon: Get hit by the chameleon 8 times and survive. This can be achieved by getting a golden heart through the groundhog. Visit the Groundhog on Groundhog Day (setting your PCs time to the 2nd of February 2025).
 6. Health: Eating a 100 blue berries with full health shows the dialogue. You can cheese this by saving at the telephone at the main hall, eat a blue berry, save and reload. If you take any damage, the counter is being reset.

 7. Pedometer: Bring the pedometer under 100 steps - which rolls over to 0 after 99 999 steps - and enter the Tamagotchi.
 8. Hummingbird: Spawn so many bubbles, that the Hummingbird gets tired
Then solving the puzzle becomes even more involved. In your home is a small poster next to the TV

Now fill up the poster in the order of the list from left to right. Otherwise, here comes the solution:
(and a bottom anchor for your mouse, so you can view the image)

This is now the final instruction that you follow through from the left ledge of the big bunny that transforms you. Similar to how you reached the big bunny, you just fly off into the distance and will be greeted by, what currently is understood as, the final puzzle.
Use the spinning top, make sure your game volume is up (especially music) and then that's for you.
Left - Left - Up - Left Down - Left - Up - Left Down - Down - Right - Down Right - Up - Right - Down Down - Right - Up - Right Down - Down - Right - Down Left - Left - Down - Left Up - Up - Left - Left

If you're hearing this then that means that you just solved a set of puzzles that I honestly did not really design to be solvable, um, I didn't even expect them to discover them so I'm kind of taking this opportunity right now to break the 4th wall and personally congratulate you. Whether you did it legitimately, or you hacked the game, or you just looked this up online either way I'm very very proud of you. Good Job.

This is Dan Adelman, I helped Billy Basso with the business and marketing side of Animal Well. Billy has been telling me for years about all of these crazy puzzles that he was putting into the game. I kept telling him that no one would ever even realize these puzzles were in the game, much less figure them out. Billy being Billy was ok with that since he'd know they were there, so if you're listening to this congratulations, youv'e proved me wrong. Your tenacity to uncover the secrets buried deeply in the shadows has me equally impressed and slightly worried about whatever else you might set your mind to. For that I congratulate you and I fear you.

Hey it's Dunkey, I've been trapped inside of the games code for 277 years and I just wanted to say thank you for releasing me from this game. It was a good game, I liked the part with the Ostrich and the Bananer Monkey, you know I loved him and maybe I can go play Animal Well 2 now by the time you've discovered this.

Congratulations! You have seen it all!

How do you see the Bunny 2 clue? I even tried wiggling the screen as suggested and I did look at the solution, but I can't find said solution in the room.

my go how on earth were people able to figure those bunnies out. That shit is just batshit insane

I kept thinking the dogs were pointing in directions to signify notes, I guess I'll have to take the disc back

Thanks so much for the guide, very helpful!
One error I found: the picture for the egg song, the second row from the bottom doesn't start with a 3.

"Bunny #20: Wheel Spikes" starts at the dog head (top left) shortcut, not the bear (right). That also goes for the purple flame quest.

Whoa! I'd read about the layers, upon layers, upon layers of additional stuff after rolling credits... but jesus christ! Even with it all spelled out for me the way it is, this reads as if it is well and truly above me - and I feel no shame about that! My brain is just not wired that way! Props for such a comprehensive guide though!

I can't get the secret space to open over the three dogs. All switches are towards the right. Made it all the way to the water without touching the ground and nothing happened? I'm definitely missing something... it's the last rabbit I need!

Just a note in case anyone else thinks they're missing a rabbit (namely, #7), be sure to use the UV light in the rabbit sanctuary. Spent hours trying to chase it down without realizing I had already got it, lol
Evilmuffins 3 Jul @ 12:01am
Layer 2 Part 4 has the correct "last" solution, but look at the picture before, row 4: you jumped 1 number and are constantly 1 shifted to right from then onwards. confused the hell out of me, because my notes were off - but thank you for putting it all together!
