Do you like wasting your precious time trying to align props with a PHYSGUN? Surely not!

The Workshop is a wonderful place to look for useful content and download viruses instead.

So, here a few basic addons with explanations to aid you in creating the contraption of your dreams.

The Addons

#1 - Smartsnap

This addon adds an interactive grid to all props within the game when using the tool gun.

Press E to snap to the intersection of your choice on the prop grid

This becomes truly useful when paired with the next addon.

#2 - Precision Tool

The tool allows precise alignment of any objects.

To get started, use the "MOVE" option within the addon's menu

The interface is rather intuitive and easy to use.

#3 - Smart Weld

This really does what it says.

You can weld multiple objects at once with them being conveniently lit up and configure the welds

It makes the default welding tool nearly redundant.

#4 - Stacker STool

A godsent addition for building walls or large structures in general.

It is possible to stack objects in any direction and configure their rotation

This tool saves immense amounts of time.

#5 - Improved weight

This addon solves the problem with "floppy" welds, especially when building car suspensions.
Increasing or matching the weight of props prevents them from flopping around when welded.

NOTE: OTHER PEOPLE NEED TO HAVE THIS ADDON INSTALLED TOO FOR IT TO TAKE EFFECT! PLEASE, MENTION THIS IN YOUR DUPES!

#6 - Advanced Duplicator 2

Useful when duplicating complex builds, especially Wiremod contraptions.

Copy the build with MOUSE2. Open the tool menu, right click the folder and press "SAVE". You can find your dupes in the mentioned folder both in game and in Windows. MOUSE1 to paste the builds.
