A really short and simple tip, The achievement for 50hrs playing is actually playing, not paused or on main menu.

Load up the very first level and make sure you do the tutorial. Nothing can kill you or do anything here. Whenever you are going out the house for a few hours or away from your pc just load it up.

I recently got it doing it this way.

The 50hrs is game PLAYED , not paused or on the main menu.

Load up the story mode, make sure tutorial is checked then stand in the tutorial house. Nothing can kill you here.

Any chance you are away from your pc for a few hours, just load it up and leave it.
