I see alot of complaining about the ammo in the game .. you have all tools at hand - use them!

Get a second gun with the prefered ammo type - in my example general ammo. I use to convert impact rounds because they stand out with the green glow - that means - switch to second gun with these mods, pick up all the ammo and then switch back to your main gun. Since they share the same ammo type, it stays at 800. I use a handgun with fast movement speed to negate the movement speed penalty on the mod.

Put on these 3 mods:


I have 800 general ammo everywhere, even bossfights. If you run low, just swap to secondary, run around, collect - rinse and repeat.
