Enhanced Railing Models for The Parish Campaign

This mod replaces three key railing models from the The Parish campaign in Left 4 Dead 2, adding more detail and realism to the iconic New Orleans-inspired balconies. The modified models include:

- railing_frame_154.mdl
- railing_frame_154_94.mdl
- railing_frame_curved.mdl

Modifications:

- Curved Railing Enhancements:
Flags have been added to the curved railing model, featuring the New Orleans City Flag and the Mardi Gras Flag. These details reflect the rich culture of the city and add a touch of authenticity to the street-side balconies.

- Additional Railing Detail:
For all three models, an extra layer of railing below the original design was added. This subtle but impactful change provides more depth and makes the railings look like fully connected pieces of architecture, enhancing the realism when attached to buildings.


Process:

Each model was carefully modified and compiled to ensure seamless integration into the game without affecting performance. Using Blender for model editing, these enhancements maintain the integrity of the original design while offering improved visual elements.

The result is a set of enhanced railing models that will replace the existing ones in The Parish campaign, creating a more immersive experience for players.


Note: Subscribe to this mod, and the changes will be automatically applied to your game, replacing the original railing models with these improved versions.

ADDITIONAL ADJUSTUMENTS:

There could be done some more things, like RNG Flag Colors to them but it would require alot of work and I for now dont want to touch randomized events codes. Who is up for this work, can contact me in my profile comment section.

Also, flags could become own model together with new i planned which are Balloons and masks from the E3 L4D2 trailer, i would love to add them all but it would require to work with VSCRIPTS and unfortunately it's too difficult for me to learn. Perhaps if someone could help with that.
