Hi,

With this little guide you will unlock all the achievements for Shuyan Saga. There are a few spoilers.


Importants things to mention:

I recommend playing the game on your own, the chapters cannot be selected and u must play trough all the book if u missed any achievements. Also, replaying a book means loosing progress so I recommend to finish the Story first (3 books in total), go for the Tournament (because is easier to win with all the abilities from the story unlocked) and finaly the Adventure mode (that only unlocks after beating the main story).

Example: If u missed achievements of the first book u must replay everything from last unlocked to first unlocked or u will need to finish everything again to being able to replay that part or mode.

So, after beating the game for the first time: play the adventure mode or the tournament, then book 3, book 2 and book 1 the last. Because if u replay book one u will not be able to beat the tournament, u will not be able to access the adventure mode and u will need to replay book 2 and 3 if u've missed achievements.

After the duel with the big guy ends, on the second day choose "get help"

As the first info to obtain the achievement was not correct, I decided to write down all the answers I picked to obtain the achievement:

For Friend in Need and Family Matters
You will need to replay the book so go for the other achievement after completing the rest of them or you will need to replay all the main story again to being able to obtain the rest of the achievements as the progress for restarting the chapter will be lost. Not sure if after obtaining one of them you can pause the game and to click restart chapter to select the other option to win both of them on the same try.

Just choose save Lily

Choose save the Queen - we go for the Queen - We save the Queen.

story related

Pretty sure this one is story related, obtained by saving Lily and after arriving at the top of the mountain (after Jian fall) you will fight against ghost.

Story related

After the battle with Jade when she falls down the cliff and you go to talk to the Master choose "she was heading somewhere"

Destroy 15 columns in the temple when going to save Jade from the guardians Serpent, I'm pretty sure it can also be obtained playing the Adventure mode.

I'm pretty sure this one is story related, but when u are in the Temple trying to help Jade from the serpent, after killing the monks choose "stop harming people"

Story related

No missable achievements for this mode. Just win all battles. Remember to do this after beating the main story to battle with all the abilities unlocked.


I played one tournament round after finishing book 1 of the main story and after the bronze medal u'll probably lose a fight. You can do it later too, just lose a fight.

You must complete the main story to unlock this mode. If you replay book 1 or 2 you will have to finish the story again, just like if you replay book 3 but don't finish it... you won't be able to unlock the adventure mode. So be careful.

As you progress trough the adventure those are the no missable achievements:

Can be obtained too during main story book 3 by destroying 15 columns in the temple when going to save Jade from the serpent guardian.

After beating the adventure I've noticed that this achievement did not pop up, maybe because during the main story in book 3 I destroyed a lot of columns but what I did was restarting a new adventure destroying the long thin brown columns encountered and after destroying the 2 first green columns the achievement pops up. (I think I played the first 2 or 3 rooms, so u don't need to go too far), but not sure at all about what triggered this achievement. Hope this helps.
