A guide explaining how to play this game. As it came with a manual that explained most of the mechanics the devs didn't include any training in the same. This may prove confusing for new players.

Recruit Worker
  • Go to Tavern.
  • Right click on a Worker.
  • Select "thumbs up" button.

Resource gathering
  • Select a Worker.
  • Left click on the tree or rocks.
  • Worker will gather resources, then take them back to the Court House.

Building
  • Select a Worker.
  • Press "B" to bring up the building menu.
  • Select the building you want them to build.

Research
  • Select a Worker and move them into a Technical Facility.
  • Right click on the Worker and select Research.
  • A random thing will be researched.

Upgrade
  • Select a Worker.
  • Move them into a Technical Facility/War College/Arcanery.
  • Right click on the Worker and select Upgrade.
  • The upgraded unit can also perform research in this building.

Combat
  • Drag the cursor to select multiple units.
  • Shift + number key: assign these units to a group.
  • Number key: select these units
  • M + Left click: move to location
  • A + Left click: attack unit
  • Right click: deselect group

Hall of Heroes
After each mission up to 8 units can be added to the Hall of Heroes. Some of these units will then be available to assist you at the starts of future missions.

Tha'Roon
Pros:
  • Best all round combat units.
  • Usually start with constructed villages.
Cons:
  • Slow builders.
  • Expensive buildings.

Obblinox
Pros:
  • High attack
  • High defense
Cons:
  • Weak magic
  • Slow movement

Eaggra
Pros:
  • Fast construction
  • Reduced terrain penalties
Cons:
  • Weak attack
  • Few starting buildings

Shama'Li
Pros:
  • Strong magic
  • Good in melee combat
Cons:
  • Low defence
  • Weak in ranged combat
Units
Each race has it's own name for each units type. They also have different requirements to be upgraded. The buildings required to train/upgrade these units are explained in the building section.

If the Clan Leader dies you lose the mission. They can use the Battle Cry ability to boost nearby units if they have 5,000 influence.

You need sufficient housing before you can recruit more units, however each race's homes can contain a different number of units. So if you had 60 units the Tha'Roon and Eaggra would need 15 homes (60/4), the Obblinox 20 (60/3) and the Shama'Li 12 (60/5).


War College/Arcanery
These buildings can turn workers into other units. These units can then conduct research and be upgraded in these buildings.

Each hero is faction specific and has their own requirements.


Tha'Roon
  • Ptasa Selver: this Assassin appears if you have a large amount of resources, raises morale.
  • Taybius O'Mort: this Destroyer appears if you've killed 10 units, lowers unit morale.
  • Prime Minister of Death: only appears in the 7th Tha'Roon mission if you're doing well.

Obblinox
  • Ramita Abad: this Warlock appears if you have a Cathedral and over 5,000 resources.
  • Eva the Old: appears if you've suffered 20 casualties and have 5 or fewer units left. Can be hired for free.
  • Haggus JheroFreed: supports the Obblinox clan that suffers the most casualties in the 7th Obblinox mission.

Eaggra
  • Jynni Creeper the Sovereign: this Ranger appears if you have 30 units and a large amount of resources.
  • Tolk Barkborn: this Arch-druid appear if you have less than 20 workers (Scrubs). Can use any Eaggra spell, and also raises influence. Can be hired for free.
  • Tywald Chainbreaker: good in combat and can mine 3 times faster than other Eaggra.

Shama' Li
  • GrandMaster 'leo Cay'Shue: appears if you have 2 or fewer Scouts (Disciples). Lowers the cost of Scout training.
  • Jyo the Helper: this Guru appears if you have under 10 workers (Initiates). Can attack from a distance and heal. Can be hired for free.
  • NagaRom the Original One: a combination of all the best attributes from every race. Only appears in the 7th Shama'Li mission.
