Vole (T1 Scout)

Compared to most submarines inexperienced crews can get their hands on, the Vole is a relatively high-tech model.
It comes equipped with a powerful engine and a backup power array which in a pinch can serve as a full substitute for the reactor's power production.
However, working around the poor turret coverage and a somewhat unresponsive ballast pump requires a certain level of theoretical knowledge from the crew.

Vole can essentially serve as an alternative to the Dugong for crews who know what they're doing and just want to go fast.
