Problem with the game regarding the PS5 controller

Good afternoon. Could someone help me with a recent problem? I tried to play the game with the PS5 controller, but the game is not recognizing the "X" and "O" buttons on the controller. I thought it was a problem with the device. I tested it on other games and it is working normally. I tried to change something in the game settings, but I haven't found a solution yet. If anyone has experienced this and managed to solve it, please help me. I would really like to play this game on the controller.

I had the same problem. Go in to FF15 in the game library in steam and enable steam input should resolve it!

Enable Steam Input:
Go to Steam's controller settings.
Ensure "PlayStation Configuration Support" is enabled. This can help Steam recognize your PS5 controller and map the inputs correctly.
