While playing you need to defeat two opponents with a MAX2 move before you reach the end of Stage 4.

Then you get a fight with Nameless, and from there you just need to beat him.

Nameless (ネームレス, Nēmuresu)

Is an original character made for The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match. He was made to replace K9999

in the lineup, presumably due to the copyright issues surrounding his character.

As it turns out, there wasn't any legal troubles with K49, and SNK just did a whole ARG around him for 15 years straight before revealing him to reappear in XV with a different name.

Actually, defeat more than two opponents with a MAX2 move will also meet Nameless.

:)
So players don't need to make it exactly twice, just try as many times as you want as it is more than twice.

didn't foxy actually replace k9999?
in the ps2 version of this k9999 and nameless were still there if i do recall
or was it the xbox version

Nameless is actually one of the best characters in 2002UM. K9999 isn't quite as good in 2002, but he's still pretty decent.

The developers of 2001 even hired Tetsuo's voice actor for K9999. He's not a ripoff so much as he's a cameo.
